😊 Hey Turner, so good to see you at work again painting one of your favourite subjects involving Sunflowers. It is an interesting snd colourful scene that you have especially chosen for this particular series of painting sessions taken in a friend's back garden The myriad of Reds, Pinks, Yellows and greens etc., are clearly very complex to work with, but as always Turner, you manage to somehow break this complexity down to its minute components and translate the scenery before you into meaningful parts. I love how you move swiftly around the canvas in the early stages using splodges of paint here and there as part of your initial mark making, as you attempt to establish the basic composition of your scenery onto the canvas surface. I believe you use Acrylics as your primary choice as this allows you the necessary drying time before apply your second layer of paint. I also observed how buttery, thick and brilliant these paints are, and wonder what make of Acrylics you are using for this wonderful flowery scene? This is an amzing botanical painting full of the vibrancy of colour which you have so beautifully captured here Turner. And I must add that it is always a pleasure to be able to observe your skillful interpretation abd the flexibility of your choiced of every scene you have chosen to paint in. I continue to be amazed and follow your creative ability with great interest, whenever I can and I am thankful for your inspiration and tenacity in sharing these videos of you at work in plien air and studio.
