Sir my brother have pleural effusion as diagnosed by x ray and ct scan from last 1 months, moreover he was diagnosed with jaundice, ascites and have uti, he have F2 fibrosis and kidney problem of which creatinine level goes upto 2.5 which is accompanied by consistent loss of hg and platelets coming down. bilirubin level comes down from 8 to 1.3 right now, actually he is following a fever from the very beginning till now but somehow it is mild now (98/99.5). DOCTORs performed a lot of tests to find out the infection causing the fever and accompanied multi organ dysfunction including, hepatitis, malaria, typhoid, even...bone marrow biopsy. But his Crp goes high above 150 and infection is still high. No clear decision has been figure out by the concerned doctors. Could you help please.

My father had angioplasty on 23 dec. 2020. After somedays he observed shortness of breath during only sleep. CT scan showed bilateral moderate pleural effusion. doctor gave him dytor 10 and Aldactone 25 along with heart medicine. From three days he did not observed shortness of breath only little cough in the evening. Does he need syringe treatement to pull out fluid.

What if patient have minimal pleural thickening

help pls - my father took a lot of hot steam last few months, so his lungs got water. he was admitted in hospital in asia. his heart and everything is normal. hospital has done all checks like xray etc . they have given him a medicine called lasix to remove the water from lungs , i wish to ask is it a good treatment, will he be normal in few months? what all home remedies can we do to help in this process of removing water from the lungs.
