Honestly it's just part of my music mix. :P this version is my favourite! As a guy who actually played Plok on SNES? NONE of the bosses did this song justice.
This saying goes a long way, despite the game not making a huge success, I would not be surprised to read or hear that a darksynth artist was inspired by Mr. Follin. I invite you to check a track consider as his swansong from the Lemmings on PS2: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wuJa8wy5OEg.html
If the only impression someone had on the game was the soundtrack, they'd think it'd be a game that goes from a *chuckles* "I'm in danger" horror game to *grabs weapon* "I AM THE DANGER" action
Plok evolved from a small, friendly character into a Hitman who kills anyone who bothers him, and this song is when the protagonist of Hotline Miami 2 meets him in an abandoned factory and they both start fighting because Plok was hired to kill him
we're headin to the place called "the flea pit" that the new guy plok has been tellin us. not sure what it ment probably something about pets? also the boss is a dame known as "the flea queen" guess it's like our problem, only it's a dame who went bananas so we'd best ensure there's nothing but her dethroning
I need more songs like this. None of Carpenter Bruts songs hit so great and I've been a fan for years. The crackling thunder makes it even better. I listen to this multiple times a day. At the gym. And anytime I need motivation to be an absolute monster in terms of competition. Pleeeeaase someone suggest more music like this. I'll reward you with friendship.
I'm actively working on a 3rd album of my darksynth-ish project (my name basically), this song is a bit of a preview as to what to expect from this 3rd opus. I should maybe release a track that I've recently finished as a single... maybe.. Either way I think you should check Dance With The Dead and Sierra (a french artist I follow and met that's absolutely fucking cool tho it's way less melodic) and maybe Lazerpunk (which I also love). Either way I'm really happy you liked what I did! Cheers!
@@DefaultDerrick man I wish, I've just finished working on an interlude track, so far 3 are finished and masterized 2 are being written 2 needs to be mastered I'm getting there!
do you think tim follin is aware of the plok boss theme's resemblance to the hotline miami ost (i guess its technically the other way around since plok came first)
I'm pretty sure that he would have been made aware of such a thing, especially when you take into account the fact that he has been getting a big bump in popularity with those memes revolving around his music... 🤔
I actually played it back then when I got a box or random SNES/NES cartridges then I saw the meme so I thought it was the perfect opportunity lol Concerning Hotline Miami, it can be played on Steam or PSP I believe. Plok! can only be played on SNES tho, you can try an emulator on a pc or a smartphone, they're not too power hungry!
