I'm on a Josh Beckett-a-thon. Another great video! When I bought my first two bottom plow I had an old timer teach me how to use it effectively. Make your first pass down the center of the field (plow throwing dirt to the right). When you get to the end of the field turn right and head back down the field plowing the dirt you just turned over back upon itself, but do not cover the furrow you will be using to run your tires in the following pass up the field. After you finish the second pass you now can plow coming and going instead of just one way. You have created furrows to run your tires in both directions instead of returning to the beginning to plow again. (You are working from the middle and going outward). Remember, when you get to the end of a row, always turn right. This will cut your plowing time in half and It will all smooth itself out when you disc. Best of luck, hope this helps.
Wow that's Kubota was coughing, sitting, and sputtering! just kidding man! That is really amazing that you can pull a 3 bottom with a 50hp! Nice video, thanks for sharing. Kap
Josh Beckett 1 second ago it ain't no Branson that's for sure. MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Truth be told because it is the economy intro into the upper spectrum of the "compact" line they skimped on a lot of stuff I would like to have. For me biggest complaint is they needed a midrange. I only have H and L so always in the wrong gear for something.
Brett Nigocs that’s my best buddy right there. Names Moe. He was a stray that I almost put down just cuz I didn’t need another dog at the time. Something made me not do it and 7 years later has been my friend, my protector, and now the horse to my kids lol. Thanks for watching Brett. Always look forward to your loyal and always very nice comments for each and every video I put up
Looks like Kapoor could learn a thing or two from you about flying that drone LMAO.. and I would love to have that 3 bottom plow I've been looking for one for a while they are really proud of them around here 500 is the cheapest I found one... Looking good Josh
Walker Outdoors $150 is high dollar around here. Most are in the $50 to $75 range. Would you want me to get you one and someday when I take a trip out to Kaps drop it off? There are an abundance of 2 bottom/3 bottom fords around here.
Murdered 141 I don’t know how I miss these comments so I apologize for the 9 month delay. Mine is the standard semi-synchro (3 and 4) shuttle transmission. Works well for what I need it. My worry of HST for this type of work is heat. Heat is the enemy of pumps mine being a non HST builds up enough heat doing this kind of tillage i couldn’t imagine what an HST would build up and how long transmission life would be
