Been messing around with the armored XYZ engine recently. Dark knight lancer can attach an opponents monster when black, white, or red summon a ship and fortress can be overlayed on a moerk summoned by any of them too. Used the same terrortop engine and it lets you go into torpedo to get a draw and then start. Not the best but it is fun
You could also run the full armor xyz package its only one trap in the main deck. And you could make the rank 3 off terra get a draw and climb into the boss monster that eats an opponents card and boosts itself.
synchro 7 could be ancient fairy to search shipyard, I remember there was one guy playing ancient fairy and the adventure field spell (you can search it with water enchantress on field effect). Maybe the terrortops can make this play more consistent now
Man this Terrortop engine is fire bro. Right now im also testing Small World to go like this: random plunder -> enchantress -> terrortop. you can even use and ash/ghost ogre/veiler for this, its crazy. Im even goin way over 40cards like 43,44 to avoid drawing into dead adventure cards. peace
At around 7:45 you mentioned using Black Rose Dragon’s effect to circumvent s:p little knight’s effect by chain blocking. The opponent is still able to respond to Whitebeard’s effect with Little Knight right? It does get rid of your opponent’s board but 2 of their monsters will return in the end phase
If they have S:P on field then yes, they could return it and 1 other monster in the end phase, but hopefully that clears all/most of the interactions off their field, allowing you to set up your Plunder Patroll monsters to respond by the end of the turn. Black Rose also clears their spells & traps if they don't have a way to negate it.
What i meant was, you dont allow S:P to banish any materials to stop you from making black rose, and then separately, whitebeard chainblocks black rose from any negates, not talking S:P anymore
I've run this for a while off and on, and I think the Icejade Synchro is good for protecting the board from things like a boardwipe or pop effects if you've been seeing a lot of those. Chengying can help push for game too, and if you draw Enchantress with Ran Aegerine its a perfect discard. But overall I'm not sure how effective it is at putting up a consistent board, and I really like the terrortop synergy shown here to either access your Adventure plays or put up an extra spell/trap negate which Plunder lacks.
Yeah i’d like to avoid 2-card combos as a side engine, the plunder discard off aegrine isnt worth imo and its a heavy investment that still plays into nib
