Nice looking table ? what type of plywood did you use Thanks, I am make an end grain desk for my Daughter but was going with the strip only no bottom sheet like you did MY table top is like 24"X 5ft thickness like 1 1/2"

Thanks! It was my first time trying this out so I just used construction grade plywood. If I was to do this again and for a cleaner result and no voids in the plywood, I'd use a nicer furniture grade birch plywood. Best of luck with your build!

Thanks! Just construction grade, but if you're willing to spend more I would recommend going for higher quality. There will be less voids in the layers that you have to go back and fill.

which coating have you used to fill the gaps on the top?

Thanks for watching. I used a light coloured wood filler, generic stuff from any DIY shop will do the trick. Since this build, I've started adding some glue to smaller cracks in my work and sanding the surface so that the same sawdust from the wood fills the cracks, this gives a better colour match.
