It really depends on your use and budget. For just hobby stuff the PM-30 is really nice and has great fit and finish. I look at the 932 as a choice compared to the PM-30. It has a larger motor and it just plan bigger in ever way but the table is a bit shorter. You could upgrade to a 4 HP and 3600 RPM motor and you could do things that the 30 could never do. I don't have the 833 in hand but the guys have sent a lot of pictures. It has more webbing in all the casting and I bet the fit and finish will much better than the China mills. Is it worth the extra cash? I really would have to see it run but I would not be surprised at all if the surface finish is better than the 932. The 940 is just bigger than the rest. The Y is really large by 3" or so. The head is 3" longer than the 833. I think it out of stock for the rest of this year, bummer. With the current short stock you will have time to think about it. The 833 will be coming in with good numbers after that the 30 will be in. For light production the 940 is still the king with the 1000mm table. For 2 vice work the 932 or 30. The 833 table is 1.5" longer than the 932 and the same as the PM-30. I cant say which is best unless I know the use.

Yes I have been doing the PM-940 kit for years.

I might do it next year if Matt is going to re stock it. I'm not sure if he is, its really close the the PM-30 and everyong likes the 30 even with the higher price.

Great. For the last few months it has been quite busy but I finally have a little time now do do new things like the 833 and I'm working on some audio stuff. The next few months will be fun.
