Hi Alvin . For Q#5 , the question talks about implementing/incorporating the improvements found out by the team. Now the improvements definately are found out in the RETROSPECTIVES But their actual INCORPORATION can only happen in a sprint planning / Sprint review... Here though Sprint planning is not mentioned we have no choice but to select sprint review as the answer ..Your thoughts pls

In question 4 why would you not get a new vendor to work with? Why collaborate with the vendor to understand the root cause? What if you find that the vendor cannot deliver completely even after finding out the root cause? You would get a new one
@HarpreetSingh-wz9qr
@HarpreetSingh-wz9qr 2 года назад
in question 4 , problem with vendor has occurred so it is issue but for buyer it will delay delivery so it is a risk so answer 2 seems correct. Please advice.

In question 2,When a team member is stepping down, wouldn't there be a change in the influence level in stakeholder register? If there is another option for SEAM, then which one will be updated first?
@alvinthepmofficial
@alvinthepmofficial 2 года назад
@Jane Philip, great question - The Stakeholder Register does contain information about the stakeholder's classification level, such as their impact/influence/power/interest level, as well as their contact information & organizational information (such as their position, location, and contact information), and other requirements. In this question, since we're being asked what is the "best" action to take, it would be best to first review the strategy outlined in the project management plan (i.e. the stakeholder engagement plan) with how you would engage this team member who is stepping down on the project before you update any other project documents. Also, keep in mind that the agreed-upon communications strategies for working with your stakeholders are also outlined in the stakeholder engagement plan. For more detail, reference pages 514-515 of the PMBOK Guide 6th Edition. A really great article from PMI to reference which contains more detail into the stakeholder register & engagement plan can be found here: www.pmi.org/learning/library/stakeholder-management-plan-6090 I hope this helps, and I wish you good luck with your PMP Exam studying!

Hi Alvin, I'm a sophomore in college right now majoring in CS! I'm planning on applying for a project management internship next summer. Would you recommend taking the CAPM as a pre-junior year college student? And how long/ how many hours do I need to put into to prep for the CAPM if i do decide to take it?
@alvinthepmofficial
@alvinthepmofficial 2 года назад
@Neena Parikh, nice work with majoring in CS and getting ahead start with applying to internships for next summer! To help clarify CAPM Requirements, all you need is a high school diploma or associate's degree (you do NOT need to have graduated from college) and 23 hours of project management education which can be fulfilled by taking Joseph Phillip's Udemy Prep Course. The CAPM Certification is a really great certification to get ahead start into project management, and it's something I've used to advance my career from Engineering into Project Management. If you use the resources I've outlined in my 'How to Pass Your CAPM Exam' video, you should be able to obtain your CAPM Certification in less than 10 weeks (or roughly 2-3 months). The really great thing about it is... if you do decide to take the CAPM Certification, is that this will put you ahead of so many other students who are also looking for internships, and will set you apart and give you that competitive advantage. I highly recommend checking it out. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out and let me know! Here's my video with how I passed my CAPM Exam: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--cbJLnNTizA.html Here's my video about the CAPM Exam Requirements: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8aCF25q9HQI.html

For question 3, are team members also considered as stakeholders? Are all the team members part of the stakeholder register? For some reason I thought the answer was A.
@alvinthepmofficial
@alvinthepmofficial 2 года назад
@Saadain Syed, To help provide clarification, a stakeholder per the PMBOK Guide 7th Edition (pg 8), is an individual who may affect or be affected by a decision, activity, or an outcome a project. With that in mind, I would agree that team members are considered stakeholders since they have an influence and power level impacting the success of the project. Check out Figure 2-2 (pg 9) of the PMBOK Guide 7th edition - it provides a really great visual to explain the different examples of what a project stakeholder is.

@@alvinthepmofficial I PRAY so ... I also took Joseph's Course + another(Andrew) for portions that weren't in his to cross reference. I've memorized the 49 I obtained my PSM recently BUT have studied the PSI differences... so I feel good with Agile. I applied and am awaiting response. I know the common ITTOs, flow of deliverables & change req, ... Right now I'm trying to review the 33 documents everyday and, write out the 49 each day and after I write out the major outputs per process group, also write which process the 33 are a result of. From there it's probably best to review network diagrams, then take a lot of practice tests???? thoughts????

Hey Alvin, I scored 5 over 5 on these. I hope that means something towards being confident for the exam...cos well...anxiety. I have done some questions, and I've heard some people say that certain questions are not the same as what's on the exam. What's your take? These questions you have on this video, are they similar to the real exam questions?
@alvinthepmofficial
@alvinthepmofficial Год назад
@PeterOla, I'm really glad you're finding my videos helpful! If you're scoring 5 out of 5 on these practice videos, you're doing great. Keep in mind that the majority of your PMP Exam will focus on situational based questions, so if you're doing well applying the problem solving strategy and what you've learned to solve each question, then you're on the right track to pass your PMP Exam.
