I'm very grateful to Freewell for providing me this widen angle lens set. I really wanted to like the wide angle lens, especially now that they added the ND options but I like keeping my set up simple so I will stick with the regular ND filters for now. The wide angle lens does work, it works really well, but I use the Pocket 2 a lot while hiking and camping so I am constantly taking the camera in and out of the case and I am worried I would lose the wide angle adapter. Some people love it, and that's great.
Hi Dave, I wish the wide angle was just a bit more wide and was able to show just a bit more of the background scenery in the shot. I am not sure what the ND filters are used for, but I am just a beginner and totally new to making videos. Thank you for sharing this video! Take care!
Thanks for the video. It's kinda refreshing to see someone make a video on a product and not really like it, especially when they sent you the product. I have the wide angle adapter and I agree it does fall off when I am moving around with the camera even though I am being careful. It works great it is to bad it doesn't stick better but it is a big adapter. Thanks for the video, glad you didn't get mauled by a bear...or a raccoon.

It's funny, if I say I like a product then people accuse me of only liking it because I got the product for free, if I say I don't like it, then I am ungrateful for getting the product for free. I actually do like the Wide Angle lens, I was very excited about it. I am a bit picky about my camera setups and for me the more simple the better. It does work well, though, but I am putting the Pocket 2 in and out of the case so much I am afraid I would lose the lens.

Thanks, I have not used the Insta360 go 2 yet. It looks really interesting. I am not thrilled about the video quality but it does allow you to get some really cool shots. Do you use it?
Never used the extra wide angle lens... And after 2 months it fell somewhere out of the case and I lost it... I just use the freewell ND variable nd's.
@@DavidDavies yeah it is handy to change the stops fast when walking from sunny to shady parts but in one angle it leaves a nasty lensflare in the under left corner... but if you are aware of it you can avoid it...
Do you have a recommendation for a slim protector that fits the pocket 2 with the wide angle lens attached? I bought one from Scotty Makes Stuff that's slim, but still too bulky. Thanks
have you tried any of the variable nd's? would be nice to only have 2 filters to deal with and adjust them as needed, I use this for my big main camera. But I hear some have issues on the pocket 2.
Got it for free it would be worth the money and I bought it and I think it's worth it to shoot with the wide angle lens during the day. I've not had a problem with it falling off and it sticks very well. Wrong thing with people that review stuff go out of their way to find things wrong and that's why I hate watching people who review. I've used it as a dash cam! If your not going to use it and afraid of falling off, you can afford to buy it as it was free...
