Koka's Pocket Beatbox is a pocket-sized drum - a portable multisampler designed by Koka. Shortly after the pandemic, NXP discontinued the chips that the beatbox relied on, so currently no beatboxes are available.
I'm not sure this is for me but I have to say it's the clearest, most engaging explanation video I have ever seen. Every synth manufacture from henceforth should get you to do their videos!
I'm hype for this. Reserved mine. It would be nice to be able to capture a beat idea without another piece of gear. Straight to the SD card. This will be a cool fit with my monome devices.
I am not a musician but I was always so pleased by the esthetics of your creations and the sounds those are producing. And now you just amazed me. Keep it up!
Love how small yet feature packed this little thing is. also, the choices for the hands on parameters controls are great, which I’m sure can be reprogrammed if need be. Great job on yet another awesome project.
The model I built the beatbox with is unavailable, so I at some point have to redesign it with a newer chip, which requires reconfiguring the entire PCB, unfortunately.
When I initially saw this I was like wow that is beautifully simple then you started listing features and its just too much my brain switched off. Now I know I could just use it the way I want too but I don’t want to pay for a bunch of features I’m not going to use
