I know of one of these on a farm in the north of New Zealand, where it was used for moving boulders and forming waterways. I was told it could lift 8 tons close to the cab and about a ton and a half with the arm extended, so it must have been a big'un. I cannot give more details as I am going by memory and have not seen it for a while. It was the (to me) unusual name of Poclain that has stayed in my memory. Greetings from NZ.
