Damn actually using mandarin for this review, and it's pretty good too! How you think about these poco phones compared to the flagship, they always look to be really value for money, more and more so with gen.
haha. thanks. performance wise, it's excellent value. In very demanding games it might not have the raw power of higher end processors, but it's not that far behind still. It also does noticeably better in terms of thermals likely thanks to the lower clock speed for both the CPU and GPU (helps with battery life too), so in some cases, might even say it's better. then for regular usage, the differences are even smaller. but of course you have to be okay with compromises when it comes to camera, build quality, and other quality of life stuff like IP rating, wireless charging, etc. 😂
@@MebiManga np! unfortunately for budget phones hard to find ones with good camera performance. I can only think of something like the Pixel 6a (after price drops), and even then it's the camera processing that makes it good, not the hardware. and there are still situations sometimes where software processing just isn't enough. And even for the pixel 6a, what it gains in camera performance it loses in hardware performance. it is no where even close to what the SD7+G2 can offer. I've had better gaming experience on even older phones with SD865/870. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I think the only option at this price bracket if you want both decent camera and performance, would be to look for older pre-owned flagship devices already. but that comes with its own set of risks too 😓
@@axhng I guess gotta splurge if I want phones with good camera and quality next time! Kinda suck, but it is what it is I guess. Or maybe I'll go down to retail stores for hands on too, who knows maybe I'll like the quality of the cheaper phones. And for processing power I realise it actually doesn't really matter for me about the generational flagship upgrades, I still think my 2019 phone is running fast enough when loading games too 😅
@@MebiManga yeah. haha. i think unless you're playing demanding games like genshin or honkai star rail, don't really need the latest or greatest. even SD870 is still plenty fast. As long as it doesn't suck as much power or heat up too much like the recent samsung-made chips, it's probably good. It's still a shame that something like the OnePlus Ace 2 isn't available globally. that was a budget phone with a good balance of hardware. good processor, good main camera hardware, and build quality is quite good for a mid range phone too. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
