Does HD Edit work with any HD pedal? so there isn't a different HD Edit for the HD300, HD400 and HD500? Also which one is the best to record with? HD Pro isnt available here in South Africa, so Which would be best??
My HD 500X Only has a handfull of presets installed at this point. I would like to dump them and get it back to what was loaded from the factory. Holding the left arrow down when plugging in does not work.
I keep seeing this software and would love to use it with my POD HD500. I see people asking where to get this, and I have been asking everybody I see on here that uses it. Well, what is it, and where can we get it? I go to the Customtone like on the Line 6 page and it doesn't say anything about software anywhere on that page. If it came with the pedalboard then somehow I missed seeing it and no longer have the box. Is it free? Do I buy it? How do I get this?
it works to upload only files with .h5e but i downloaded some tones from customtone who have files endig with .l6t and I can't upload them into the pod500. please help
i was just about to send mine back as FAULTY but this vid sorted this part out.... now do one for connecting the VARIAX to pod hd500 cause i`m getting no conversation between them, this seems to be a common problem, i`ve tried everything an still no recgonition from th pod that it`s connected to the variax.... HEAD MELT!!!!!! WILL NEVER BUY LINE6 EVER AGAIN!!!!!!
The overly loud background music ruins all these videos. We want a clear, audible lesson, not pointless background noise. We already KNOW what rock music sounds like!
Okay but how do I actually make my own tone? I’m confused because idk where to put all the pedals in the signal chain (I looked that up but a real signal chain looks way different than whatever the hell this is), how to use the FX loop, and etc
Also idk about the mixer? What is that supposed to do here and why are there two signals or lines going from the amp to the mixer? I don’t know a lot about guitar effects and stuff and this Line6 I thought would streamline it, but I’m just confused
The order of your pedals is kind of up to you - whatever sounds best to you. There are a lot of people who prefer putting things like delay, reverb last, after things like overdrive but it's not necessary.
The mixer basically helps you increase or lower the signal going into your DAW - or live - whichever it is, and also separate the left from the right channel if you're preferring a stereo sound. One thing you will need to make sure is that any effects you use AFTER the mixer don't take your stereo signal and make them 2 duplicated mono signals again - if that makes sense.
