i disagree with not taking the kirac missions in middle just scouting reports alone are meh if you dont back up missions

My main idea here is going left side to not worry about respecing "Expect the Unexpected" node. The goal is to rush to Unwavering Vision so you can get the 20 points and then spend the 20 points on getting kirac missions. After my 22 maps to get to Unwavering Vision, I spend the next 20 points to get all the Kirac Missions.

Basic idea is nice, but the actual pathing is not well thought out.

thanks for the comment, anything specific you see for better pathing?

@@imsidviciousI agree that first Atlas Tree goals are to progress Atlas Completion, but that goal also includes preparing your character for corrupted red maps and Atlas bosses. First of all, Kirac nodes now give double the bonus, the Atlas you use is outdated. 2% chance for Kirac mission is definitely better than increased chance for Scouting reports, especially in the beginning. You are grabbing Map Tier nodes, and using Bold Undertakings to reach the ones on top. Are you using Fortune Favore the Brave? If you had Overloaded Circuits, you would be better able to take advantage of free map crafting options that you get at the start of the league and from Shaping the Mountains. The real problem is that you recommend taking the connected nodes. Atlas lost Wandering Path and map doubling nodes, but gained greatly increased access to all other mechanics. Following your strategy, a player would fill Atlas with small nodes, gain lots of Kirac missions, but will start having problems before Blight is available for farming, and will have no points to fix that. With no extra content on the map and low (without Wandering Path) map retuns, Kirac missions will have to be a source of progression, but will a player with this Atlas tree have resources to comfortably buy the maps offered in Kirac's shop? Let's say the player progresses and takes all the Blight nodes, including "varieties of items are lucky". Among the best drops from Blight chests are Scarabs. Which cannot drop because of Unwavering Vision. And Scarabs to improve profits from Blight also cannot be used.

@@Tirinir Thanks for the feedback. I guess I need to add more detail for next time. For the Kirac nodes, I am taking all the ones that grant Kirac mission. Base Progression Tree, includes all of them. I am simply rushing to Unwavering Vision to by going left side of the middle Kirac Wheel to pick up scouting reports, instead of "Expect the Unexpected" because that node doesn't really do much for progression during league start. Also Poe Planner is still not updated to 2% yet. Since this is a Progression tree and we will have 2 more atlas layouts, I am not concerned about either Fortune Favors the Brace nor Overloaded Circuits. Main reason is we will not be spending chaos on the map device at all. But I see your point about utilizing the free map crafting options. Personally I think this is extra detail that doesn't need to be a worry for beginner players. I will keep in mind and path towards Overloaded Circuits and see if I utilize this tech. As for the connected nodes, I researched these thoroughly and the general consensus among the community is that kirac + 60% is the best we can do now and should be good for progression. The primarily goal of this setup is so you can progress the atlas, so the atlas tree is setup to have the best progression. You don't need much currency to build out this atlas, simply doing chaos recipe till 10-30c is enough depending on how much power you want. Then you can simply transition to an easy league mechanic with blight. I even mentioned using Cassia's Pride to make blights easier. You dont need any gear for the blight mechanic at all. Scarabs will be good, and thats where I mentioned for intermediate players that I am running Jun as my scarab farm. In this video, I dont have a dedicated Scarab from atlas because of Unwavering Vision. You might lose out on a few currency from not getting scarab drops. But the key advantage you are gaining here is fast progression to higher end strategies by completing the atlas. Also I have linked an atlas tree for when you unlock the 2nd atlas tree, that focuses all on currency. I hope my explanation makes sense. I will definitely work on adding more details to explain some of my choices.
