I've actually been to The Eddie surf competition at Waimea

That's pretty cool! My home town as far as I know played the back drop for Major League (Camden Yards), and in many episodes of The Wire. (Inner Harbor area). It was also in a Denzel Washington movie but I can't recall which one. I will never forget it because they had numerous streets closed. Since it wasn't raining they had several helicopters hovering over the city blocks with hoses connected to create rain for the scenes they were filming.

Ohhhhh yeah that didn’t look like bells beach at allllllll! Despite the very very convincing little sign nailed to some shack! Plus EVEN if Swayze just showed up at a Victorian beach in Australia!!! he’d get his pert lil ass kicked by the locals ... if Point Break has taught us only one thing ... it’s that surfers are violent territorial sea criminals ... as far as films go, it hasn’t aged well, but it’ has aged better than Swayze and Busey. So there’s that, hey maybe it’s better in 4K or some sh*t ... :D

Damn 25,000 US 1991 dollars to fall of a wave!!!!! Guess there was only one dude who really made out like a bandit in this film.

That is so crazy to me. Why wouldn't they know about each others undercover agents? Unless they are investigating each other I guess.

This movie is great. It’s also logically flawed on so many levels. The FBI would absolutely know that there was an undercover DEA agent infiltrating the Nazi surfers. They would have found that out when they got the info about who owns the house in the first place, cross-referencing databases to see if any of the guys had priors. And the part that makes the least amount of sense was the chase between Bodhi & Utah. Bodhi gets away, because Utah can’t bring himself to shoot Bodhi. His cover is blown. He should have been coordinating an operation to take down Bodhi and his team at Bodhi’s home. Going skydiving the with gang after blowing his cover makes ZERO sense. Them interacting like buddies makes ZERO sense. The whole thing is just … preposterous. It makes me think of Screen Rant’s pitch meetings with Ryan George when he mentions something preposterous happens in the unfolding of the plot instead of the more logical thing and when his boss asks him why he says, “So the movie can happen!” Anyway, I still love this movie. I’ve seen it many times. This is just nitpicking as the movie is incredibly entertaining and logic rarely plays into action movies like these.

For example, the argument went, if one knew about foreign nationals taking flying lessons without bothering to learn how to land, maybe that could have been combined with exchange students overstaying their visas to prevent 9/11.

Yeah Keanu is in a category with Will Ferrel in a way that people like his movies or can't stand them. No in between lol

I think the fact that Keanu is genuinely a good and humble guy despite all the fame and Hollywood shit makes me appreciate his work even when is not that good

@@RedEyeReviews I live in Baltimore so sadly, I am no longer a Colts fan, nor am I a current Ravens fan. Unitas was one of my Dad's favorite players and one of my prized possessions is actually something I gave to my Dad. I had a very nice biography written about him that I had the chance to get autographed by him that I gave to my Dad on one of his Birthdays. He was a mainstay in Baltimore and the Maryland area. Towson College renamed their field after him. He has a statue outside of the Ravens stadium as well.
