Pointe Shoe Fitting for Different Shanks 

Ever since I got the all clear for pointe I have been nonstop watching you to know everything about pointe shoes. I am getting my pointe shoes in about a week!😁

My daughter used to dance at Western Ballet (2012-2014) and we loved our time there. Living back on the East coast, otherwise she'd still be there. 😀

Can you make a video someday about the process you go through to travel to all these places? Like what do you take with you, you can’t bring 400 pairs of shoes with you (can you?. 😳) how do you make this work for you? I feel like this must be a huge production

Hey Josephine! I wonder if you've ever fitted a dancer with darker-colored shoes? I assume (sadly) dancers of color have less options when it comes to shoes with their skin color; unless they pancake of course. So I'm curious how you would fit them :)

Lol, I'm having the opposite struggle. I was cruising along in my M Grishko shanks and my teacher was like, I'd like to see you in a softer shank to really strengthen your feet...in that Ballet teacher way that doesn't make it seem like a choice. I can still do things in center, but it's much harder. I do think overall it's better for my feet in the long run, but I can't say I would have volunteered myself for it. It is forcing me to have much better technique. I have to really spring more and pull up on my standing leg.

can u do a vid on flat, long foot and short toes? i love my bloch european balance as it has the wide platform, but i also love a tapered shoe , and i’m in a grishko 2007. do u recommend darning my grishkos. i’m really strong but they are only my 4 th pair. ❤️

A small suggestion! Could you possibly shoot videos with you + dancer higher in frame please? I have to use subtitles and because of where they are on screen, and how low your framing is, the subs cover the legs + shoes. Just a suggestion! 💚 🦓

My toes are shaped like the big toe is the longest and then the last small toe is the shortest, I use ouch pouches, but there is a lot of pressure on my big toe so I tape a little piece of silicone on my big toe but then my big toe gets even longer and it's not good, What do I do? And another problem, my little toe’s nail has looked weird, it has grown to have two thin layers, the top layer came off and now it's a very thin nail and now it's hurts when I dance on pointe, I tried to put that Gaynor Minden dancers dots but I can’t put it like that it stays on:(

Hi, I have a question about what to do if you’re rolling over the front of your shoes? I have really flexible feet and every time I’m up on pointe my feet over pointe so I’m on the front of the box. If you have any ideas on what to do I’d really appreciate it. ❤️💞

I have trouble walking on pointe and doing piques. I've been dancing on pointe for 4 years now and I still look like a beginner because of my inability to get up on my pointe shoes unless at the barre. I was wondering if you could recommend what I could or should change about my pointe shoes, if anything.

I was recently refitted with Bloch heritage the shoe looks very pretty but the wider box presses on my big toe for some reason any advice would be great

where do you get 3/4 shank pointe shoes?

My balance European Bloch shoes had me pushing onto my pinkie toes to much (like possible hairline fracture too much). I've heard about Russian Pointes helping to fix that. Does anybody know of any other options that could help me?
