I know how bad that makes them feel and how disappointing the fans are, however, that was very classy for all of them to come out in person and at least say hello to everyone and explain what happened. They could have just canceled and left but they didn't. I love these guys so much and I cannot wait to see them again one day soon! Praying that Bret is well soon!
I was at the Nashville show and I was disappointed that they had to cancel, but,I still enjoyed Joan Jett's,Def Leppard's ,and Motley Crue's performances!I hope Bret gets to feeling better and him ,CC,Bobby, and Rikki come back to Nashville and kick some ass!
I totally agree, very conscientious of them indeed. I flew some years back from Toronto to Tampa to see a somewhat known group called THE WHO, and the singer couldn't sing that night, he tried but they did a similar discussion with the fans....especially when people come to these concerts from way beyond an hours drive!!
What Bobby Dall said, take a lot of courage to announce this news to their fans !! Bravo💚 Bobby Dall I find it very beautiful physically and internally because it exudes an authentic simplicity 🫶
Their gear was already there. They could’ve played anyway and let the audience enjoy singing their hearts out. Glad I was running late and missed all this.
I saw this show at Citifield and all the bands were great but Brett seemed seriously appreciative to be on stage again playing to 40,000+ on this tour, I wish him speedy recovery and hoping to see them again really soon
From what I’m seeing and saw Bret Michaels has been absolutely appreciative at each show. He gives it his all he genuinely cares. Def Leppard is amazing, motley was good, but with poison and the way bret performed poison maybe stealing the show.
As much as it may be disappointing to the fans, at least they had the courtesy to address the fans directly for cancellation, rather than have some sort of "anonymous" announcement or one of the "non-public" people in the organization say something regarding this.
It’s sad that some of the crowd participants had to be so F’ing selfish to be so selfish! I hope the best for Brett. It has to completely suck for Brett, his band mates, and the crew for POISON.
i never did till this tour he seams humble i guess word im looking for , i dont know i always thought he was butthole really but have kinda took a liking to the dude
I just don't know what to make of that. Is Bobby Dall drunk? Usually when someone is in the hospital, the announcement is somber. This was, well...strange
Yeah, don’t get me wrong, I’m a Poison fanboy and looking forward to this tour in a few weeks…..but this must be the reason why he doesn’t speak very much during shows….HA!
I was there. He was inebriated. People were pissed. I sat beside a couple who paid $1400.00 each above their ticket for the meet and greet. I was eighth row center, and it was obvious he was FUBAR.
@@alexkx8599 yeah i don't know how so many of these rockers from the 70,80s and 90s are are still living with all the drugs and heavy drinking that they did back in those three decades
Boddy Dall looks like the typical drunk friend in a wedding party and in all of a sudden he just grabs the mic to make an unexpected announcement for the guests but everybody has the WTF expressions on their faces. LOL
Man that sucks for Nashville.i saw the show in Atlanta .Poison was difficulty mine and my friends favorite part of the night.hope Bret is okay.Rock on!
Probably they have the mindset of "all or nothing" but maybe they could do a very little intimate 2-3 song acoustic set and sing with the audience. Of course it's not Poison without Bret but as a fan I'd be very sad to go there and return without seeing them play. For me 2 songs singing all together is better than nothing...(and I respect all the other comments here)
Been a huge Poison fan since '87 and until now had no idea how annoying Bobby Dall is. Imagine having to listen to that for months on a tour? No wonder Bret chooses to tour solo all the time.
These guys are a band of brothers...I remember in an interview they did with Bret regarding the dismissal of CC, he said that when he was in a concert with Ritchie Kotzen, he looked at him and said; My God, CC was supposed to be in that place .....
RK is at a different level. He was, and is, a giant of a singer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter... completely out of place in this crew. With RK on board, they all actually sounded like a band of musicians for a brief stint. He raised the game for everyone, even BD's bass playing sounded better. But as BD said once, Poison wasn't formed with the goal of musicianship in mind---they came out to California to become rock stars, not musicians. So it was not to be.
@@DeOmnibusDubitandum76 RK did not respect his band mates, his golden opportunity OR the Poison brand. That is why it failed. Good musician or not, the failure of his tenure with Poison is his doing, no one else’s. Besides, CC is the guy Poison fans want, not RK. Whilst Native Tongue has musical merit, it sounds more like an RK album than a Poison album. Peace.
I hate that we missed seeing y'all perform that night. But I'm extremely happy that Bret Michaels is doing better and that the rest of the tour is going well. 🖤🤘
Wife and I arrived late to concert, was delayed for weather but didn't know Poison had canceled due to Brett being sick, I spent the whole show anticipating on seeing Poison play, Motley Crue played last but I was hoping next up was Poison and they never showed, bummed but still a good concert
CC looks like the most healthy one in the group now...wouldn't have thought that 30 years ago. So what's the latest on Bret? Has he performed in the more recent shows? I have tickets for Aug. 5 at Fenway Park.
Not a Posion fan at all but props to the band for coming out and saying the situation in person. Would've been easy to not do it being on such a large bill with popular bands. Course they're not the headliner either so probably no riot is gonna happen..
What was more embarrassing, having to bail, or listening to Bobby tell the crowd they had to bail? He sounds like he was on those meds that put Brett in hospital
CC has done more drugs than most people and he came out classy and cool as did Rikki! This sucks because Poison is putting out such an energetic pace on this tour.... In my opinion they should be co headlining with Def Leppard. And I think Bobby is sauced! Lol
Damn, they all seem fried. If had paid alot of money for tickets I would be wanting a partial refund. If ticketmaster didn't cooperate I would be contacting my credit card co. pronto.
Fans, we love Poison also fans, get his ass out here and perform for us. You can't be sick, we paid money for this. Hmm maybe the fans are the problem.
NASHVILLE !! Vince Neils hometown , well where he has been living anyway , they went over had to much ! cant party with vince folks ! may sing better but when the mic is off and the party starts ! this is what happens , lol just kidden i dont have a clue hope he is ok , like all these guys ! and from what ive seen on youtube they jamming like they 20 again .
