Great video. I love that jig. I put some Easy Kasting silicone skirts configured to a bluegill pattern. Works great. It's harder for fish to throw the poison jig.
@@talltalescustomtackles2502 I understand, sometimes I purchase a lure, or rig up a jig or chatter bait that I'm afraid of losing while fishing!!!!! I wonder if I'm just collecting lures or if I'm going to fish! Lol
Couple tips for beginners. Candle soot helps to lubricate the mold. Make sure it is not one of the sootless candles. Pass the mold cavity right over the tip of the flame to blacken the cavity. Instead of shaving the spru I use a heavy pair of old dykes and 2 whacks flattens it right out. Quicker and safer. Immediately after applying the powder paint, use a round toothpick in the line tie to clear excess paint before final heat
