I retired 5 years ago and moved to Bass Lake., sold my house on the coast and livin the life. We fish it at least once a week. Mostly rainbows and Koks but the bass fishermen do well too. Glad to see you enjoying our lake.

I live in NW Montana 7 miles from Canada. We have lake Koocanusa that has Kokanee salmon. We chum with oatmeal and use the Swedish pimple lures as well as trolling with flashers,snubbers and small spoons and jigs with maggots . This lake has big Bull trout and rainbows. The world record rainbow we used to hold was right below our dam. There is also big pike, perch and my favorite ling cod. Fishing from this lake gives beautiful views of the Canadian Rockies and you can travel into Canada by water. Just can't touch the shoreline. Great video again guys. Thanks for the report.

I was stationed in Lemoore and went up to Bass Lake a lot. I almost drown sliding down into the lake. It was a very very hot day but being from the South I didn’t think where the water in the lake came from. Cold is a understatement.

What can I say just another great video. I've been to Yosemite Park back in 2000 ,stayed all night in a cabin, then went to the restaurant inside the park for the best breakfast ever. Of all the National Parks I have visited Yosemite is my favorite. Got me hungry seeing all those fished cooked up. Thanks again guys will be waiting on your next video. Stay Safe!

Wow that was awesome. I love how you guys show the teeth of most of the fish you catch and the colored eyes. I totally understand about those tumbleweeds, just like any Lake sometimes you get those areas that are just very difficult to fish in and you keep pulling up seaweed or plant life getting your line stuck it takes the fun out of it. Keep bringing these fantastic videos guys I especially like when you show cooking it I wish you would have shown the reaction of how they tasted. They look fantastic and tasty. I grew up fishing those lakes, thanks for bringing back memories of great days at the lake. Ironically I never did much good at Bass lake but always did good at Hensley lake.

If I get back into fishing I’ll look for boat like yours. Very versatile and well built. Nice spotted bass fun.

We were just in the Fresno area a year ago or so (fall of 2021). It was so dry, but so beautiful. I'm glad they have gotten some rain. What a beautiful area of our country.

My grandpa used to take me and my brother's and all our boy cousins fishing when we were little boys. I haven't gone fishing in 30 years, I sure miss my grandpa.

Welcome to the central valley of CA. I would also recommend shaver, pineflat and Eastman. But since u already all the way here, try the San Luis reservoir for some good old striper fishing. Maybe even hit up the CA aquaduct and delta Mendota canal. If your heading back home stop by kaweah lake or lake success in tulare County.

Great fishing

Another great video as always. Cool getting to see different lakes that I haven't been to, and didn't know about. Pretty cool getting to see the different species of bass. We have a few lakes in the local San Bernardino mountains. Silverwood Lake (fairy small) lots of different fish in there like Striper, bass, large mouth, various Trout (rainbow, German Brown, black like you guys caught) [the Striper feed on the fingerling Trout when the Lake gets stocked. Blue gill, black crappie, catfish, Carp. Hopefully they have gotten the alge problem cleared up, because at times the Lake has been closed because of it. No fishing or swimming in the lake at those times. My dad and I ran into Dale East up there one time and he must of had a 30 pound Striper on a rope that he was using for a stringer. He was fishing off of the launch ramp and dock which is normally prohibited to the public. Because he was a famous fisherman in the area at that time the park rangers let him fish the docks and launh ramp area. It's rumored and possibly true that there was a small city / town there at one time and they flooded it to build the lake. Big Bear lake has fish, but I'm not sure what types. Lake Arrowhead and Lake Gregory all up in our local mountains. Then to the west a bit is another San Bernardino / Los Angeles County mountain range. Jackson lake up there. I've never been there. Couple more small places locally too... Mojave Narrows and Jess Ranch. You guys would be welcome to come stay at my place if you wanted to explore some of those lakes here in Southern California.
