This is amazing. Hau’Oli City hit me the most; it’s crazy how fast three years has gone by ever since we were all excited for Sun and Moon, and now we’re already waiting for a brand-new generation. And this is coming from someone that started with Gen 1; it feels like it’s been a decade since 2016 and I feel so nostalgic for Gen 7. I had a lot of good memories with it and it’s crazy to realize the last traces of it are ending soon. Alola was so scenic, and hearing that remix of Hau’Oli reminds me of the vacation I took with my family to Hawaii literally months before Sun and Moon were announced. Coming back home and seeing what the new games were and where they were gonna take places was surreal; like, hey, we just came back from there! Every other track is a banger, too. Gens 1-4 were my childhood. Gen 5 took up my middle school years, Gen 6 was high school, and these past three years I’ve had with Gen 7 made me mature a lot over college to help me transition into adulthood. That transition is still rough today, but looking back at Pokémon and each generation really makes me think back at each point I was in life at the time I played each game. I feel so different now compared to the person I was in 2016 with SM. Even more different back in 2013 with XY. It sucks that time feels like it’s moving so fast for me. Before I know it, I’ll be gone. But I’m glad I grew up with this series and learned as much from it as I did. And albums like this really help me adapt these childhood memories into something I can listen to as an adult and feel nostalgia for with other people my age while I take care of the more adult things in my life now. So thanks. I’ve been going through a rough spot lately, and listening to this helped me mellow out a little and think back on happier times. I wasn’t able to grow up with very many other series outside of Pokémon, so the music is pretty near and dear to me, and I’m glad you were able to keep the spirit of it here. Man, I can’t help but tear up a little listening to some of these. D/P/Pt’s Pokémon League, especially. Keep up the good work, my guy. You deserve way more recognition and support for what you do.

olha eu sei q ngm vai ler isso, mas esse álbum ou playlist de músicas do game chops tem um valor imenso pra mim. Eu ficava o tempo todo escutando essas músicas na quarentena, sozinho em casa quase que 24 horas por dia, e não era só essas, outras tbm. Toda vez que eu escuto essas músicas de novo eu me lembro daquele tempo, em que eu ficava trancado em casa estudando e fazendo todas as coisas que eu gostava, eu sinto saudade daquele tempo. Just discovered your work today. When I heard your Azalea Town mix, all the Gen 2 memories came rushing back. It is my personal favorite Gen. I started playing back since Pokemon Yellow Game Boy Color days. All the way through now with Pokemon Sword. I miss the nostalgia of the old days when I hear your music.
