With all the memeing happening, and Lechonk's description as "all muscle", you just KNOW it evolves into Lestronk.

I think the problem is not that it may turn bipedal. There's great bipedal Starters. BUT if it looks too human, people get mad. They just mistake it as a bipedal-problem, when it's more a human feature problem.

Pokemon can't texture an environment but by GOD they can make hot characters

you probably already know but lechonk is called that because he's based on a lechon, and that means basically a small pig in spanish

I fully believe that “Smoliv Garden” should be a canon thing in Pokémon now. Also I think Sprigatito’s Evolution would work as a Bipedal

Fun facts: Lechonk is actually heavily based on the actual pigs, Lechón. These pigs are used for Jamón Serrano. The professors are based on past and future with professor "Sada" for pasada which is past in Spanish and "Turo" short for futuro.

I really can’t pick which game to get. Both legendarys are cool, but I like the more rugged look of the past Pokémon, but I do like the color purple. I also like the Scarlet professor.

I’m picking Sprigatito. I don’t care that much if it’s bipedal or quadruped, but I do slightly prefer quadruped. Mostly because I don’t want it to be super similar to Incineroar (which I do like, mind you. I’m a cat person. I just think it’d be more original of it stayed on all fours)

Koraidon for me is a design that's gone *so* wild it's gone beyond "clustered and unappealing" and come full circle to "fun and entertaining" I prefer Lugia to Ho-Oh for the simplicity, but man this hits me just right on the other end of the spectrum *BUT THEN YOU WANTED TO FUCK THE CATS 3RD STAGE AND YOU LOST ME. Scarlett - Quaxly Reason 1: I have very fond relations of my Taíno heritage, so I love the aesthetic of Scarlett being so focused on the past. Reason 2: While Fuecoco gives me friend vibes, and Sprigatito is a cat..... I dunno something about Quaxly is calling to me, maybe it's just how different he feels?

Lechonk's name comes from Lechon and Oink(?) Lechon is a dish consisting of an entire roasted pig, popular in countries with heavy Spanish influences, such as the Philippines :)

We got another artificial legendary! First Mewtwo, then Genesect(actually a mythical), then Type Null/Silvally and Magearna(also a Mythical) and now the Violet legendary.

Raikou, Entei and Suicune are NOT dogs. They are, in fact, based on cats! Raikou is obviously based on a tiger. Entei is based on a lion. Suicune is based on a leopard (which explains the diamond spots). Trivia from Bulbapedia (origin): "When asked about the basis behind Raikou's design, Muneo Saitō described the process to be difficult, as "Raikou took many twists and turns; there was even a blue thunder version with a drum on its back", but it eventually fell into a tiger-like design." "When asked if Entei was based on a particular animal, Muneo Saitō described the creation process behind the Pokémon as "a hairy, rock-like body, volcanic smoke rising from behind its head, a king with a dignified beard... Entei's design was coming together... You could say it was basically like a lion...But I didn't want it to be simply an animal. So I settled on a silhouette that could look like a dog or a cat."" I also think that, if a cat is to be bipedal, to not look too human or Sonic-like or whatever, it looks less like a Pokémon and more like another fantasy creature that just talks, but it doesn't. I don't really like Cinderace's design coz it looks like a person in a costume, same reason why I don't like Delphox, Braixen or Incineroar (though the latter also because it looks like a Looney Toons character). There is a possibility that Sprigatito's final evo isn't going to stand on 2 legs, coz it isn't a Fire Starter. All the Fire Starters' final evos stand on 2 legs, but not all Grass Starters or Water Starters do that, so there is hope for, say, a sabertooth cat final evo, standing on all four. Or a lynx, as long as it stands on all four. I'm also getting both games, but I'm playing Violet first, and I am totally going with Quaxly first, I LOVE DONALD DUCK AND THAT LITTLE THING IS FABULOUS~!!! He's gonna be a fabulous pirate/musketeer, and I am certain he's going to be a Water/Fighting type and not Water/Flying like many may think initially, coz we have SO MANY FREAKING WATER/FLYING TYPES, but I think we only have Poliwrath, Keldeo and Urshifu as Water/Fighting types. I also already have names for the two legendaries: Saurus for Koraidon (after my favorite character in AFK Arena) Jetfire for Miraidon (after Jetfire the Autobot from Transformers, former friend of Starscream, my favorite character)

My favorite types are Flying and Normal, Aka the two no one chooses as their favorites. Flying is because I always use as least one flying type, always had a love for flying animals, and own a bird in real life. As for normal, I like the diversity in how you can use them and they have saved me many times in my nuzlockes(such as Rival the Zangoose and Exodia the Likilicky)

If sprigatito evolves into a grass psychic type then it will definitely be a weed mon, since quaxly likes to kick it does make sense for it to water fighting, to complete the double type triangle I think freucoco will be fire dark. Since starters now in days secondary typing is usually beneficial against one of the other starters who originally had an advantage against it maybe swap the dark and psychic types above for balance.

If Lechonk is an exclusive then I'll have to get whichever one its from, the legendaries are just spore creatures tho Fuecoco's final evolution is Gokudile Quaxly is Caesar mixed with Josuke and donald duck

The internet was so furious about the meer posibility of this new cat standing up, that they almost had me confinced that most cat pokemon stand on tw legs. Turns out, there are only 2-3 where the final evolution stands on two legs! Now I understand the outry for "keep it on all 4" even less! xD

I understand the fire type feeling I've chosen the fire type starters for every gen I've played except gen 8 where I chose Grookey because I wasn't as big of a fan of scorbunny however I am definitely going back to the fire starter this gen

ngl...i agree with u on the standing up. And from past games the ones on all fours havent really ever been the favorite starters, even often the least favored. Even tho i like the quads, bipedals are more popular than Venasaur, Torterra, Meganium, Samurott, etc idk just my take 🤷 (i still love them all btw, just an inference from popularity)

My theory is that the legendary in scarlet inspired mythology for the region and violets legendary inspired their technology, most cover Legendaries have something to do with inspiring the religion in some way, black and white have the legends, sun and moon have the mythology, and so on

Listen…..I think all starters would look good with they go bipedal, before you get your pitch forks and torches let me explain. I see fuecoco just evolving into a big fat pepper dinosaur. I see quaxly turning into some bipedal pirate Pokémon with a bigger fur coat around its body and holding feather as a sword. And I could see sprigatito Turing into a good bipedal grass starter, maybe they could make it have a similar body to your fakemon that you showed in this video, little bigger head with more narrow eyes, and flowers bursting all over their body with a green mist around them.

I agree. When I saw Sprigatito I immediately thought of your cat Pokémon from TrueGreens vid. I would love a Puss in Boots bipedal cat starter with a sword of grass or something. Grass Dark, Grass Steel, and Grass Fighting are all cool typings that could work with that concept.

The origin of the legendary name is from korai(古来) which mean past while mirai(未来) mean future. But did you know why their is don? The reason why there don is to make the the name, koRAIDON and miRAIDON sound like "ride on" which might imply by their design that we will be riding them like motorcycle
