je, I remember years ago that the only pokemon that I wanted was that bagon, because my favourite pokemon is salamence, now years after and in the same emulator but a different device, I have a regenerator fongus, a hariyama and after some years, my bagon, that is jolly, that happened 3 to 4 days ago, finally......
Fun fact: with some Pokémon, you can tell it’s zoroark. When bouffalant was sent out, it’s cry is deeper than normal (close to its fainting cry) but it’s actually zoroark. Although it was hard to hear a difference with herdier and jellicent, likely because their cries are very low and quieter.
Or if your playing Online and see a Zoroark on the Opposite team, just read they go Zoroark first, it's a unhealthy obsession for everyone to start with Zoroark
I miss the 2d animated sprites. The 3d models we have now our soulless asl. Plus old games used to be 80+ hrs of content. Now it’s maybe 30 if you’re lucky.
Bro I’m confused as to why they don’t have Pokémon following you in this game. They have a few over world sprites of Pokémon already existing in this game it would have been easy.
Yeah it’s crazy how popular that feature is, but they rarely implement it. Like, it’s been something people have wanted in every game since Pokémon Yellow.
I was so pissed when I read about how this mechanic works. There’s dozens of cool older Pokémon you could find in the grottos, just to have in your team. Except you can’t have any of them cause it’s 5% chance to even get something to appear every 256 steps then 20% chance for a pokemon. Many of these critters have a 1% encounter rate.
I actually remember a couple months ago I somehow managed to get the imposter ditto. That 5% encounter rate was a pain in the ass. Worth it? Every single minute.
Sorry, care to explain? impostor ditto? i am sure ditto's are a regular encounter somewhere, maybe in black & white, or is this some kind of special one?
@@lioncat8764 You see, while you sure can get dittos easily, this specific one has an ability which allows it to transform without the need of using any move, an advantage that is super fun to play with!
@@kuatro_as Damnit, i thought that was only in the more recent games. Didn't know gen5 was even more close to perfection than it already was. Thanks, i might spend an eternity trying to get me one. I never really enjoyed dittos, but that is about to change.
The only rare Pokémon I got was a Breloom in Pinwheel Forest. Aside from that, I've been lucky if I even encounter a common Pokemon. Most of these hidden locations just have items.
For anyone wanting to get a hidden grotto pokemon here's a tip If you walk the full marvelous bridge twice you'll walk about 256 steps or 5% chance of getting a hidden grotto to reset so keep walking the full marvelous bridge left and right and when you think you walked enough check the grotto The grotto pokemon won't come fast but if you're persistent enough it'll come
16:45 at first I saw your thumbnail has victini, and I thought we can catch victini inside hidden grotto, but it turns out...it was just a DITTO ! And I must say, you are so good at trolling us
What hurts the most back then was trying to find a female of that pokemon because that was the only (legit) way to pass down its hidden ability and use it for competitive use (Getting 5 perfect IVs, or 6 if you were determined). Unless you had a friend or used global trading (almost impossible cause people trolled with the pokemon they wanted: I'm look at you, *Legendaries below Level 10*). Another way would have been grinding mini-games for hours on the Dream world Website.

I got PokéBank last week. It is used to get pokémons from Unova to Kalos, New Hoenn and Alola games. I'm finally going to bring my strongest pokémon from White 2. People still battles at Pokémon Sun and Moon? I don't have Nintendo Switch yet

That Baggon is impossible to find tbh ... One day, i spend the entire afternoon trying to get him. I counted 412 resets from the Hidden Grotto. No Baggon. And barely any pokemons. A couple Hariyamas that you can count on one hand. In 412 resets ... Ridiculous.
I actually have a legit black 2 version I bought it when it came out and I already new where each of these where already and I still do I’m just watching what Pokémon you get but I actually never ran into a lot of these Pokémon you are running into

I have no idea there is so much hidden grottos and I passed them when I was around that route, need to go through my save file again. I'll probably add Ditto because my real name is pretty similar to it lol.. I'll also add Dragonite too.

Found dragonite, but didnt catch it because i thought whenever I return to hidden grotto it will be the same pokemon. Now that damn dragonite didnt spawn back!

Probably? I used to have an amino account for trading pokemon in rare pokeballs. Since there's fan servers up for Gen 5, I suppose there's nothing wrong with asking for trades here. I've been working on gathering female hidden ability pokemon in White 2.
Damn, I remember I used ti catch Legendary Pokémon with normal pokeballs in this game for the memes xd, I got a virizion, a mesprit and a Latias in normal pokeballs.
