As an Iphone User, I remember finding out about Native Refresh Rate for the first time and it felt like when Mr. Incredible got his spine fixed in the first movie

It has to do with 120hrz on your phone, if you turn off native refresh rate it will fix. If you dont have 120hrz this glitch won't effect you

The only issue I have is every time I try to go into a remote raid my game freezes, and I have to re-launch it just to join the raid

I have never had that problem before...

My mate had this while I didn't. Was something in his settings that had been turned off/changed. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Here is what I did, I logged out completely, and I deleted pokemon go (no im joking) but fr I logged out, closed the game entirely, and restarted my device. Then I logged back in and it was fixed. Not sure if I just got lucky but try that.

@JTGily i haven't had this glitch in fact I think it's just wrong on some certain accounts because I haven't experienced this glitch and neither has my friends.

I haven't touched my game settings in a while and am not having any problems i think it juet depends what n what phone you have but that's just my opinion

Hey JTGily have you tried doing the Download All Assets to see if that helps your game play

Native refresh rate does not do that for me, but it’s really laggy ever since the newest updates

I'm glad the glitch wasn't just me. I've lowered my refresh rate and that seemed to help.

Pokemon GO isn't broken, it's ALWAYS been broken, Niantic doesn't know what the f&ck they're doing. or maybe it's the opposite, they know very well what they're doing and are sabotaging the game on purpose, Pokemon Company should just come in and take Pokemon GO away from Niantic's hands, I'd much rather have Pokemon Company be the only ones managing GO than Niantic.

Yeah no I play on a 2020 iPhone, so I run at about 1 fps. I tried GBL for battle day, but it went down to one frame every TEN SECONDS. (I timed it after the 10th match.)

2:20 bro what are you talking about. Any iPhone in the last 3-4 years runs PoGo smooth as silk, especially on native at 120fps (14-15 pro). My 15 pro max doesn't even get warm, its great. Can play for a few hours and battery barely gets hit at all. My old 12 Pro Max played it perfect as well, native refresh rate. Experience has been way better than my Android phones (Pixel 6, etc.). I find the iOS build of the game far more stable than the Android one, probs just due to the smaller hardware pool. I'm sure any flagship or modern phone in the last few years will run this game absolutely fine, no need to throw shade like that damn

I’ve been having issues since I got a new phone, where my adventure sync doesn’t seem to be working. The past two weeks on Monday, it says I’ve walked 1.3 KM which is ridiculous. Any advice?

Turn Off Native Resolution (60FPS) This fixes it for me. Niantic are saying turn it off and on, the problem is it just comes straight back so I leave it off.

I’m an iPhone user with the most recent iPhone and I have never had Native Refresh Rate on. When I turn it on, it plays like crap. Laggy. Battery drains. So I used it when it came out and quickly turned that off.

If you haven’t reinstalled the game you’ve messed up already also if you go and press download assets . The game will work 100% fine for almost any bug in the game that’s what support tells em everytime and everytime it works brother

Not to downplay this at all cause I know the game gets buggy from time to time. But I’m an iPhone user that plays everyday and haven’t had this issue. I wonder if it’s only on android? I’m assuming so because we can’t downgrade our software on iPhone.

It's been a week and they still haven't fixed it. I actually haven't even seen Niantic acknowledge the fact that its a problem. I truly despise this company man. Please just sell the damn game to someone who cares.

Mine shuts down when I start a route. Also when I snap a pic of my buddy.

I play with native refresh rate off & I'm fine with it. If I turn the native refresh rate on it only takes me 1 hour of playing & I'll loose 30% or more battery but if the native refresh rate is off I will only loose 10% in an hour.

Pokemon go is working fine for me at the moment and on Charcadet I have 2 fully evolved 1 into Ceruledge and 1 into Armarouge

I haven't had this issue. I'm a very rare player, just getting daily challenges and that's it usually unless I'm able to participate in an event

We can quit PokémonGo and play a new game where we take a shot every time you say Frustrating.

Im not surr, but i think on iphone if you have an icloud back up that is before the update you can restore the iphone and then choose the back up with the older software update, but again, not sure it would work, but i think so

To fix this problem you need to turn off your native refresh rate.

The only fix atm is to turn off the Native Refresh Rate that makes your game look awful and unplayable! Also atleast for me, If I install the game in the Play Store it is okay. Only the Samsung Store is broken.
