Knowing mewtwo he totally said "why did you come here" because he doesn't want humans to step on his island and he still doesn't fully trust humans even he already knows that ash is a good person and they kinda bonded together in the mewtwo returns movie
It’s just bad writing. For whatever reason they tend to f*ck up these amazing moments, probably so that newer fans wouldn’t feel left out when they don’t get the reference. Totally ridiculous
Edit: Missed - JN39, Ash meeting up with Chuck (Johto) JN37, photo of Alola group shot Thank you so much for watching! I hope you enjoyed the video! If you did, leave it a LIKE 👍🏼 and subscribe for more! Let me know in the comments section below what you think about this series! Also, feel free to tweet me your opinions on Twitter @ThePokeRaf. God bless 😄 #TeamPokeRaf 🔥
How people thought this was a re-boot still amazes me to this day... Anyway, thanks for making this video PokéRaf. Great job. Hopefully you'll do more as the series progresses on, as I'm sure more episodes will have more continuity to throw in. No doubt.
If I recall correctly, BW and SM were both meant to be 'soft reboots' in which while some events were ignored, the overall continuity was kept (mostly) in-tact
Goh is a researcher. He's probably seen a lot of ash's battles, or heard about them. Ash might not have explicitly told him about the draco meteor tactic, but rather Goh found out about it on his own.
Yep! Journeys has been giving us a lot of continuity! Although you don't exactly need continuity to be good...it definitely is a great way to develop the newer characters and show off older characters like Ash DO remember what they've been through and didn't conveniently forget everything
8:18 he also used it against Paul's Electivire in the DP anime. Electivire used thunder on the battle field and Pikachu used quick attack to dodge and jump from each of the falling rocks, eventually connecting a hit on Electivire
Now, where's the "Journeys has no continuity" gang?😂 Hope we see more references this season too. Journeys is doing a good job at that. And Sheesh! Didn't see that coming at 8:37. RIP my ears as I was wearing earphones😕
I love the continuity within the Pokemon anime. They also had continuity within the movies before "I Choose You". I hope they stop having movies set in an alternative reality and get back to movies connecting to the main timeline. Could you do a video explaining how the movies (before "I Choose You") connect to the main timeline? One example is that in "The Power of One", Ash had Snorlax with him which indicates that the movie took place before the Orange League. When the League came, Ash sent Snorlax to Professor Oak in exchange for Tauros.
9:19 Further continuity of prof Burnett is her origin not in the anime but before her anime and sun/moon Appearance in Pokemon Dream Radar the side game accompanied to Black/White 2
Woww Raf!!as always ur videos are amazing!!Thank u for always providing amazing content and keep on grinding bro. You are an inspiration to the community❤👍
Wow!! Amazing Video Bro this what you call an Anipoke Video!! Big ups bro I can see how much effort went in to it!! It was really enjoyable and very funny 🤣 But yes I’m so happy that you went over all of this continuity tho! Definitely need and there’s some I actually missed out so yeah well done big bro 💙👏🏾🔥😁
Maybe in Pokemon, kids are conceived within 1 month🌚. I mean lbr, this is the same universe where 10 year olds can chuck around tree trunks, jump 20 feet in the air, eggs hatch after 1000 of years. Maybe this is one of the same weird occurrence 🥴
You missed the JN 25 reference from ash where he warns farfetchd about Bea's Hawlucha (watch out for his air attacks) meaning he is all too familiar lf that pokemon since he himself had one.
i don't like how this series make ash/satoshi looks like side character because in the last few episodes Goh get more spotlight. Goh can catch Suicune and the newest episode his scyther evolve when we all think ash's farfetch will evolve in that episode. I wouldn't surprise if Goh get Grookey or in the future Ash will be replace by him in the new series.
I'm just glad Journeys isn't making any noticeable errors in continuity... Still not over Meowth forgetting he can translate electricity... Did everyone just FORGET the 2nd movie?!??
Wait a minute. Couldn’t the whole “climb strategy” have last been referenced back during Ash and Misty’s battle in Sun and Moon? Sure, he used electricity as the foothold to escape Mega Gyarados’ hurricane trap, but I think the concept was the same, right? They even had Brock crack a smile when he did it, as nod to continuity back then.
I think it’s more of an Grant XY reference seeing as it is a ‘Rock Climb’. Maybe the concept is the same, but overall it’s for sure different. Not a bad mention though
i still feel like its mixed tho, although there are some continuities, there are also scenes in which they act like its a new thing, like a reboot or retcon or something but the moment Goh found out Ash was a Pokemon League Champ, is what solidified it for me, that means all those years of Ash losing, and his close win at XYZ, is fucking CANON!
Not to confuse this Mewtwo with the one that fought the Genesect in Unova which had a female voice there for being a second Mewtwo(which make no sense)
At this stage I don't see the movies as canon to the plot because they always set in some place you never hear of. The legendaries seem to forget who Ash is every time. Not to mention in Black and White there was two versions of the one film where Zekrom would be bad in one and Reshiram bad in the other
I would have preferred to see Takeshi/Brock's little brother when showing the Kanto Gym Leaders, because that would have shown an even bigger continuity since Takeshi is not actually the Gym Leader there.
@@Seven-9090 like in the episode that pikachu used electric web on gladion silvally but that same thing in journey that happened to this trainer mightyena but kind of different
In the episode of Almost Pikachu Crisis! Ep: 58, the fake pikachu says "Hikachu". Can it be a reference about DP Series. Dawn's Japanese name is "Hikari" and some of her friends call her as "Pikari" for joking. It seems this time they use "Hikachu" instead of "Pikachu" to continue this joke.
