All 13 Special Moves / Signature Moves of the Partner Pokémon Pikachu and Eevee in Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu & Let's Go Eevee. 1080p 60fps gameplay by Nintendo Unity | Our 2nd Channel: / @nintendodatabase |
When I first heard about “Baddy Bad,” I thought it was a meme or something. But nope. “The user acts bad and attacks the target.” Thank you, Nintendo of America.
Its Spanish name is something closer to Umbra Zone. That's way cooler. All of the Spanish names for Eevee's signature moves are cooler than their English ones.
and those of Pikachu are based on special edition Pikachu is previous games.... floating Pikachu who could use fly and surfing Pikachu who could use surf
Zippy Zap: -Always hits first -Always lands critical hits -Electric type for STAB damage -100 Accuracy so it never misses unless Pikachu is hit by an accuracy-lowering move -15 PP so it's almost guaranteed to never run out unless you actively engage a bunch of battles Why is this in the game? And why is it given so early? It's basically Easy Mode!
Let's see... It's 50BP move so for Pikachu it's 75BP move with Crit it's I believe 107BP if they stack multiplicatively. It also goes first and ignores defense buffs if the opponent has any. For comparison, Pikachu Learns Thunderbolt at level 21 in Let's go. That's likely a level you will reach before Celurean unless you avoid catching like crazy. It's a 90BP move which makes it 135BP one in hands of an Electric type with 100 base accuracy. Lack of priority doesn't mean much since Partner Pikachu is pretty darn fast and unless enemy uses moves that boost special def you're dealing more damage.
I just did pika papow and don't know howI did it. I don't know that move yet. But I was kinda just thumpin my joycon on the floor softly and it happened!?!?!?
Pikachu got Zippy Zap which is basically Volt Tackle. Floaty Fall because of Flying Pikachu and Splishy Splash because of Surfing Pikachu. He should've gotten two more. Would've been more fair.
@@octolockg5059 I guess they gave Eevee more since it's only a normal type while Pikachu is electric. Sounds stupid but that's the only reason I could think of
@@pixellord2370 True. But those effects Eevee gets with those. They gave Let's GO Pikachu the better exclusives but Eevee a shit ton of moves. You can have coverage for a lot of Types if you do it right.
Pikachu surfs on a surfboard, does his usual volt moves and attaches balloons to itself.... Why would you need an Eevee that opens portals to hell and summons a giant bean stalk that attacks the opponent?
funny enough, only in english. i play it in german and we got normal sounding translation. and baddy bad is called quälzone which literally means torment zone lol
Ever since they stopped making actual Pokémon games and basically made a glorified remake of a phone game at least there’s actual combat but not for the Pokémon you’re out to catch, you can solo with just one Pokémon till 10 hours later where there’s finally a need to switch, even then you have a built in exp share so you don’t even have to worry about switching Pokémons to lvl them up for said actual battles
@@universalgamer9615 Then don't buy Gen 8, or play Pokemon Go if you think that. This game actually did pretty well, and many are actually enjoying these titles. Hell it even improves on some of the the Core Games.
In fact, I am from Mexico and I obviously play the game in Spanish and the names for the eevee attacks are much better as they refer to the evolutions of eevee .. for example: vapodrenaje that means vapo-drain Flarembestida which means flare-tackle umbreozona which means humbreo-zone and so for the other attacks, I do not know why they put the names of the attacks like that in English, but hey, greetings
Since it has all those moves It also has rather Balanced and Low-ish stats compared to Pikachu. Also, no STAB makes them relatively weak as you could see.
@@rochindelacruz18 Coverage is nice true. But then again it doesn't mean much when a Pokemon that has it is average in terms of attack at best. If you feed Eevee tons of candies yes it will be good. But nothing really amazing.
For once Pikachu got the short end of the stick. Sure its move are good, but Evee's are straight broken. All at 90 power: a move that sets up lightscreen a move that sets up reflect a move that sets up leech seed a move that always burns a move that always paralyzes a move that eliminates all stat changes a move that acts like aromatherapy a move that drains health (I think that makes it the strongest draining move other than Dream Eater) It can do anything
These Eeveloution attacks kinda make me wish they had made this the Eevee from the manga, that can freely change between it's Eeveelutions. Make it work like Mega Evolutions. That would have been pretty cool. But gotta give it to Game Freak, they did really put effort into this.
I know what ur talking about. But for God sake if eevee can evolve and devolved freely it will be a digimon. That adventure manga made in 90s which rule itself still in chaos like anime did whatever they want with improving moves for example. And if i remember that eevee was team rocket experiment so it can evolved unaturally
@@cliftonl.2353 Only the really terrible one with the Clefairy and the Adventure Series. All the others like the Black and White and RUby and Saphire ones are all part of the Adventure series.
@@snin3202 How exactly would it be any different to Mega-Evolutions? Just have it be like that. It can evolve into one of it's eeveelutions per battle, and after the battle returns back to it's baseform.
@@EskChan19 LOL forget the mega evolution...🤣. But mega need a stone at least right(?) If u watch closer in the anime, its like the magical dna structure inside the stone marble that blend into and change pokemon traits. Even well..yeah its digimon as long as the monster back to normal/base state. I dont like mega. Its diff right with eevee cases, idk..with stone kinda make sense in some point but changing form and revert back for evolution without a stone kinda off i think. Its diff case like castform etc too. Theres a manga called pokemon pocket monster which clefairy revert back to normal because of devolution stone lol its fun but obv its just for gag purpose.
This just made me wish that they make a new pokemon game for 3ds about eevee learning those exclusive moves upon evolution into a specific eeveelution cause it is just cute... But baddy bad tho what a nice name xD
Eevee has more variety and is better rounded and some of its moves are pretty cool, but most of them appear pretty much the same. Pikachu's moves are cooler-looking and I love the cute references to Pokemon Yellow with the balloon attack and the surfing attacks lol. Nonetheless, like I said Eevee is better rounded and I probably prefer Lets Go Eevee! P.S. Gotta love how Eevee and Pikachu basically defy all previously established pokemon rules and logic by using moves that are nowhere near their elemental typings! XD
1:38 the moment I saw this in game all I could think of was that scene in gravity falls where basically Ryu uses his.. I beleive it was "super power ninja turbo mega awesome neo uber prefix COMBO!!!"
Partner Eevee is busted and I love it. I cannot wait until I can transfer it to a game where it can use Extreme Evoboost. Pairing that with Glitzy Glow, Sparkly Swirl, and Bady Bad would make for one bulky, hard-hitting, diverse typed Pokemon. Sizzly Slide could also be useful in place of Bady Bad.
Eevee is really special how it has it's own Z move crystal in Sun and Moon and has more exclusive moves and outfits in Let's Go Eevee and also has special techniques like surfing flying pushing huge bolder and cut large trees in the way i know Pikachu has those techniques and two Z move crystals
I like how most of Eevee's exclusive moves are buffed versions of otherwise actually fully legit competitive moves, while Pikachu is left with some meh exclusive moves that are somewhat good, but nowhere near as godly as Eevee's corresponding moves.
I wish gamefreak had made a post game move tutor that thought any eevee and pikachu (the opposite from the game you own) the exclusive moves from the other, that would have made the post game a lot more fun, as you could then rechalenge every gym with the other starter
Eevee is so OP in let's Go eevee Can use skills that the dmg will be half and have a heal skill, are heal debuff Can make burn/paralyse And it is only against one type weak ... I think eevee is with mewtu mew and dragoran AG meta in Pokemon let's go
@@ksoundkaiju9256 All VGC are Double. But Eevee was played in S/M because of its special Z-move, then batonpassed to an user of PowerTrip or StoredPower
The names for the moves are actually pretty dang cute! Though maybe it's just me, but some of these moves seem similar to moves that already exist in the main games. -Ice-type attack that erases stat changes: Haze -Zippy Zap basically an electrified Quick Attack -Splishy Splash is basically Surf -Floaty Fall kind of like Fly (when used in battle) -Buzzy Buzz looks like Thundershock except it has a 100% chance of paralysis -The Bubble one is kind of like Absorb, and with the healing effect it's like the Water Absorb ability (which Vaporeon CAN have) -Glitzy Glow and Baddy Bad have the same status effects as Light Screen and Reflect respectively, with the bonus of inflicting damage as well. -Sappy Seed is clearly Leech Seed (though TBH with much better animation) -Sparkly Swirl has the same effect as Aromatherapy except that it's Fairy-type rather than Grass. I wonder if that's on purpose?
@@Cgreen123 Yes. Look at the luminous points of the cave that are in the shape of a circle, where there is light and in the Rock Tunnel, look in the craters. Your initial will wag its tail, since it is an Item Finder.
@@Cgreen123 Certamente ^ ^ E se você usar uma montaria que voe nas rotas (eu acho que é o suficiente), você encontrará Pokémon que você não encontra no chão, mesmo que seja lendário. @@CriminalGamingHimself Step 1: Play with the Switch undocked (joycons disconnected from the Switch) Step 2: Wait for the image of Eevee shaking a joycon to appear above the 'attack' option. Step 3: Shake the joycon until the game registers the action as a selection. Step 4: Enjoy the animation.
Love how some people are trying to figure out how to get it to work while I accidently used mine on a low level pidgey when getting up to get some potato chips with the strap still on.
Them removing these moves were an extremely good idea let's be real the moves that Eevee used in this game we're very unusual like sappy seed glitzy glow and sissly slide
