Yeah I just picked up playing this game today. This was not a newbie friendly video. My mistake lol.

Right after watching this I got a jolly nature synchronize going, and then a little later I found a Shiny Charizard. Make sure you do that.

For my shiny charizard i just went up to the pokemon center on route 3 after a 31 catch combo and went in and out of the pokemon center till a shiny appeared, dedication will be rewarded my friends

Pokemon make a certain taunt when they are about to run away. It is different than the regular taunt, and you can tell if the circle doesn’t disappear while the pokemon does the taunt. If they do this taunt, it means they will run away soon.

alrighty 1 problem with your video and were not even past tip 1: why do we need jolly pokoemon? why is docile and impish bad?

The tip where you suggest give up after throwing 2 balls to keep a Catch Combo is spot on, I went over by 1 and saw the escape animation, immediately left and was able restart it right away.

My tip is for people who like to catch Pokémon with the Poké Ball Plus, but don't really like it for menu navigation, battles, etc. I use my right Joycon as my primary controller, then when I want to catch stuff I connect my PBP and shake to add the 2nd player. I can either just throw with the PBP, or if it's something hard to catch like Chancey, I use both and the combo throw bonus makes it easier. Then when I'm done, I shake to dismiss the 2nd player and keep using the Joycon.

Here’s my poke tip for let’s go. 1. You can start a catch combo in the go park (located in fuchsia city). If you’re looking for starters and you have at least 10/11of that particular starter in pokemon go, transfer them to let’s go, catch them, then go to the routes they appear (and at the lowest levels), use a lure, and that should increase the odds of finding that particular starter. Now for a tip/suggestion for youtube. Create a captcha set up for the likes/dislikes option. It would stop the like/dislike bots, annoy folks who would make multiple accounts, and might decrease bad music being promoted.

Okay this is so weird, I watched this video yesterday while trying to get two shiny bellsprout, then this morning i watch it again with a huge catch combo. I follow the first tip and set up a jolly nature, and when I try to go back to the forest, I immediately see a shiny dragonite :D so thank you very much for the tip!

For payday, go for a weak pokemon without stab to maximize the amount of times you can use it. I choose psyduck, timid nature with low attack IVs. Use candies to max hp, spd, def, and sp. def for survivability. Level it up and most importantly DO NOT evolve it. BONUS: Get two psyducks so your "friend" can help you speed up battles.

so i have been following your guides, and to shock and horror i tried your method of shiny hunting. go to bug forest, get a combo of 32 took about 10 min and 50 poke balls (yeah im a bad shot) then over to (the no longer bike bridge) to hunt for shiny eevee, it took me 15 mins 10 lures 1 ultraball to catch my first shiny..... rattata.............. your method works but im unlucky

Hey Verlis, not sure how much you play Pokemon Go but just fyi the catch bonus just increases the chance of a critical capture. They didn't do it by pokedex completion like in the main series since the pokedex keeps expanding.

One thing I would like to add is that if you find a special Pokémon you would like to catch you cannot pause by going to the run menu in case something comes up. After a while it will kick you out and say the mon fled. I tested it out with a tentacruel after about 3 min.

For those who may not know, and want to quickly level up their party, make catch combos of huge and tiny Pokemon. You'll get a size bonus that you obviously won't get with regular Pokemon. Also, to further increase the experience earned, use the second joy con and if you time it right, you'll get a syncronized bonus as well. I learned these tips after I beat the game so I'm hoping to pass this along to those who are just starting out.

Can you get shiny snorlax from the sleeping snorlax during the game?

I also try to flee after 2 or three ball throws, and 1 time I actually ran from a Pokemon right when it's fleeing animation started by hitting the b button. (I know it's crazy, but I was VERY lucky, and I've only done it once.)

Ooh yay very usefull tips, ill remember to remember them then for when i get into the later game It is very cool that the more the same pokemon you catch combo the easier it is to catch, and is simular to pokemon go but with types, thats ineresting, would be nice to see that in LGPE, but id think it works better with it just the pokemon combos. Yes gots to have plenty of money to fund for our shiny hunting, ingame that is lol still need to watch that guide :3 its nice pay day is a cool move, just reminds me of that meowth episode on the orange islands arc. I just see it as 2 different ways of getting shinies, standing around just strange to me. and the RAM method is just a "theory" that does work, cuz a lot of people commented about it working. Yh the berries are weird, realy strange how they don't work competitively on paper itll be epic, but i think for gen 1 game, awesome :3 didnt know they had a different named AV till last week lol little thing i noticed, i think depending what pokemon you have walking with you they probably get thier little moments, like i was in the museum and nidoran was interested in the moon stone.

I don't get the jolly nature is it where you get shiny dragonite/charizard? Because I'm so confused with this maybe I'll try it some other day

I also have been using the payday method for making money especially with rematching the 8 gym leaders. However the amount I make depends on how many times i use it per pokemon and also the damage out put i do as well as my pokemon's level. I noticed that every 20 levels your pay day gives an extra 100 so my pikachu was giving me 500 each time he used it at 100. Also since i used the support trainer with my pikachu and another pikschu both at 100 and not having a high attack power When i finnished with just brock alone I had gotten an extra 13k because they had low attack and thus used it a lot more. I did of course have to heal them a few times but the money i made from it was astonishing

awesome video but I dont understand the "nature" thing in the beginning. like what benefit does jolly nature have and where do the berries come in to play when in it comes to the whole nature thing. I am 4 yrs late to this game i know. I just realized pokemon lets go is a re-make of pokemon yellow and I couldnt run to the car faster to race down to my local gaming shop :P

if you want to catchcombo a pokemon check the pokedex and watch his second animation if he does this he wants to flee pokemons like gastly or caterpie have only one and flee pretty quickly.

Since I have a hard time doing chain combos for starter Pokémon, I'm going to transfer some from Pokémon Go after I catch, say, a Bulbasuar to increase my odds of finding them in the wild.

You can actually find three Heart Scales a day. The first one doesn’t always respawn daily. I found this out myself two nights ago where twice it didn’t. But the second one you mentioned does respawn daily. Now the third one is above the ladders at 11:31 of your video. I found this one just last night by accident.

Just an observation, out of the shinnies that I have caught 23/153 so far 12 were while standing still and they were faster to spawn than the other ones (pure luck). So I don't know if the standing still information is accurate, but the stair/door reset method is indeed the best. Awesome video love your channel.

You can get a Persian with payday in Celadon I think, if you catch five growlithes, for this dude. It’s probably the earliest you can get it without the TM, and it doubles as a good rideable Pokémon too so it’s a great start for beginner players.

You should highlight my comment I've played Pokemon for 19 years and this is the best competetive format for sure it's just like stadium 1/2 (Lol rentals) but so much more versatile with the new moves and megas keeping it fresh still. Plus the truth hurts when Verlisify gets it right and ALWAYS has been right. Why go to tourneys when your getting cheated online anyway. I've been to TCG and videogame Tourneys and there still shady at times. This game how Pokemon should have been . Basically Pokemon GEN 1 done right . Can you make a video going more in depth to Pokémon nature’s and which to choose for the best of each type of Pokémon? Perhaps even throw in which Pokémon generally should focus special attack verses normal attacks? Growing up I always just cared about the special attacks, and having a Pokémon who could single handedly sweep the elite four. Now that my brain has grown... it is becoming more clear the “one stop shop” Pokémon with thunder, earthquake, surf, and flamethrower is not ideal for an optimal Pokémon team (especially now that leveling is stupid easy). I’ve searched both RU-vid and random forums from google, but there does not really seem to be much info out there to help people get “better at Pokémon” competitively above the basic Rock Paper Scissors that everyone and their mother (besides the genius npcs of the Pokémon world) should know by now.

So I got a shiny Charmander at combo 17! I was comboing Kangaskhan ofcourse using lures. I also have my shiny charm. (Thank you pokemon go!) I only have 6 gym badges cause I'm just taking my time on that really. But I've transferred over 1,000 pokemon to the prof. My point is they can so up before u expect it. I almost passed up that sparkly little fireball since kangaskhan was really not cooperating with me. But at combo 17 of kangaskhan, i got my first shiny charmander!

Since it guarantees 4 perfect IVs after combo of 31, can you also catch a different pokemon that ends your combo and have 4 perfect IVs for that one too?

Can someone please explain the significance to the Huge and Tiny pokemon that we keep seeing from these encounters? The only guide that I read once said something about them being useful for changing the power of moves like Low Kick and Heavy Slam. I don't think those moves are even in the game though... Can someone PLEASE explain that feature?

why do I not get Pokemon appearing in the sky? Also, my Aerodactyl does not really fly that high. Is the feature something that gets added later in the game?

I wish the mechanics are a little bit tolerant. No chain shit, just the number of pokemons caught raises betters success, so u can freely catch around the zone without killing your self "should i break the chain of charmander to catch shiny oddish that just poped" . Chaining 100 of one species take up to 3 hours doing same stuff over and over again. Making a milestone of pokemon sent to professor oak like (1000 of any species = easier catch rate for all) so you can basicaly feel the progress of what you are doing. Not like catching 100 of one species, catching shiny and not ever returning to that pokemon because u have no need for it, and all your work is down the drain cuz you start another numbing chain without having benefits of past one. Logicaly (trainer gets skill in catching any pok. imagine guy who hunt with a spear, tossing few now and then is not gonna go well, but killing a 100 boars is not going to make him stupid when he start killing deers. Skill trees would be great also. At least option to cut watching poke ball wabble every single time. Gets frustrating. Feeding candies are another huge pain. No batch feeds, slow as f.
