Pokémon Scarlet Hardcore Nuzlocke - DARK Types Only! (No items, No overleveling) 

Honestly, one of my favorite dark types is Krookodile. With moxie, that guy is a beast and can carry runs like this. He’s done it for me!

Man, Hydreigon took a backseat on this one.

I know this is gonna be a weird pick, but I really like Mightyena. It's just a good boy.

I love Grimmsnarl, he's a monstrous goblin who is somehow a fairy and he is a pretty solid support mon.

My favorite dark type was originally Honchkrow but once I saw Kingambit I was like “OOOOOOOH” And I didn’t think Bisharp Needed an evo but I took that back after I saw Kingambit Edit:You Probably Could’ve gotten Brute Bonnet in Area Zero (Assuming your not doing the thing where you can only get one Pokémon per route if it’s the same type in A monotype)

The hard part about this challenge for this game is that everything has play rough and every fighting move to counter dark types

To be real, my favorite WAS Krookodile, but Lokix has grown on me a LOT after I used it on my second play through. Love the upload as always, Antlerboy!

Greninja is one of, if not, my favorite Pokemon of all time, but I can't determine if I love it more as a Dark Type or a Water Type. If I love it more as a Water type, then either Hydreigon or Bisharp is probably my favorite Dark Type. All three are incredibly badass, and I love the imagery of Greninja and Bisharp fighting side by side.

My favorite dark type is definitely Mabosstiff! It’s also my favorite Pokémon overall. Mabosstiff’s design, Pokédex entries (specifically it’s violet entry), it’s role in the game, being the ace of my favorite Pokémon character, and just the emotional attachment I have to it. I can definitely see mabosstiff being my favorite Pokémon for a long time to come. Also, I’ve seen a lot of people call Meowscarada’s deisgn “disturbing” or “weird”, etc. but I personally see no problem with it? Am I just dumb? Blinded by my love of the Pokémon? I think it has one of the best designs in Gen 9. I used one in my first ever scarlet play through and saw nothing wrong with its design. Of course. I could just not be seeing something.

Fave dark type is Incineroar, BUT for non starters, Umbreon, Single Urshifu and Houndoom are great too. Also love Roaring Moon

My favourite dark types are: tyranitar, sableeye, sharpedo, drapion, hisuian samurott, krookodile, hydregion, greninja, incineroar, grimmsnarl, Lokix and kingambit

Fantastic run! Glad to see my favorite dark type starter get some much needed time in the spotlight! I went through this game spoiler free my first playthrough and was so pleased when my starter hit the final evolution. Well done sir!

my favorite Dark type is without a doubt Krookodile. cool design, i like Ground types a lot, and i've gotten one in every game they're available and he's always taken a solid, well-deserved spot on my team. also my days of using Florges as the insane special wall it is did laugh a little seeing you try to special-sweep that gym. such high base SpDef it's the SpDef mascot in Super Training is never to be trifled with by a special attacker

Tyranitar,Absol,Weavile,Hydreigon,Yveltal,Incineroar,Grimmsnarl and Roaring Moon are my favourite Dark types in each generation.

I’ve only been playing the past few gens, so my favorite honestly might be Grimmsnarl. I dunno why but he’s just super cool and one of my main picks for Sword

Zorua is my absolute favorite dark type - followed by Hydreigon

Gotta go with Zoroark. It's ability is situational, but I just love its design. Speaking of its Ability, as long as you have a fighting type it can break the psychic gym. 2nd place is the pawniard line. The chess theming is neat and Kingambit's ability is awesome.

Roaring moon is by far my favorite paradox Pokemon due to me liking salamance

I think for these monotype challenges, you should only be able to use Tera types matching the type of the challenge.

That one dark type move was the ultimate gamechabger in the entire nuzlocke scene of this generation of Pokemon games.

I think my favourite dark-type is roaring moon as it just looks cool, although I also like Overqwil, as I love the idea of it looking like a underwater proximity mine.

I did a White version Dark types only run a few months ago (not a nuzlocke, just a regular run) and Scrafty became one of my favorite Pokemon. Moxie plus absurd bulk is just way too fun.

My absolute favourite dark type pokemon is Umbreon, I love them to the moon and beyond (pun deffinetely intended). Fun fact I own 2 Umbreon plushies, mostly because when I saw the plush the other day I wasn't sure if I actually had one and was like "welp, I'm not leaving the store without it." and that's how my Umbreon got a twin! :D

Tyranitar is my absolute fav Darktype pokemon, since gen 2 he and crobat are mainstays on my team when the edition has them in the roster.

Umbreon's my favorite Dark type and my second favorite Pokémon overall.

My favorite dark type is also my first ever Pokémon, Samurott. The Hisuian design is really cool but I'm pretty sure it's just a lot of nostalgia pushing it to the top. Otherwise, it probably would've been Weavile which I absolutely loved because of its animations in Pokken Tournament.

I personally like that Umbreon is essentially a defensive wall. Its why its my favorite dark type of all time. Tying with mightyena as same there with defensive.
