The most tragic and gut-wrenching battle in all of Pokémon. After a whole game of being everyone's hero...we can't save the AI, the one person who begged us to help them.
Imagine they made Jade version and the timeline difference is the professors never had a falling out. And now you have both ancient and futuristic pokemon flooding into the world, and you get the choice to team up with either another player (if only it would be allowed...) or Nemona, Penny, or Arven, each having their unique teams to make the difficulty different, it would be amazing to see how the battle would play out against two professors simultaneously, like the closest one would get to a tournament sequence battle, it would be terrifying to have to face both types of paradox mons
i think the major paradox is whether the professors even existed at the same time. remember sada was one of naranja’s top students and turo was on of uva’s. it’s just hard to imagine both of them even deciding to pursue their goals in the same timeline
@@FrNSICs I'd speculate they'd have to do something like what they did in Emerald, establish one main academy and have a second one (probably in the DLC area) and then they both realize they have one thing in common, wanting a time machine, eventually they could both bring Koraidon and Miraidon, but when they realize they're genetically similar, they realize they ended up with the same pokemon but different time era, it'll require rewriting the story, similar to Emerald and Platinum's storylines
@@StarLucario102 Like emerald and the gangs it could still be a clash. Both become obsessed with their respective past and future. Yet both still want the world as a paradise for them and their son, but begin to drift and argue which choice is better for the world they want. If you want the darker route of them both being gone you could change the act of trying to save the pokemon from the aggressive version to them having a battle to decide it but realizing mid fight they aren't fully in control of the battle as both legendaries go berserk. With their AI counterparts taking over and planning to stop the time machine and both interacting more like a couple than the real pair did before their untimely demise. While teaming up with one AI it the other would be cool I would think it cool if you have to face both of them simultaneously as a double battle, right down to the legendary. And as far as the legendary goes, whichever you pick at the start of the game, the opposite goes to Arven. Cause as always, Arven needs better closure than they gave him in the base games.
This is literally one of those weird pokestar studios battles but in an actual part of the main story. You fight a robot with a team of robots/dinosaurs
Check out these cool Pokemon games called “Pokemon Black & White” and “Pokemon Black 2 & White 2”. They all have that Gen 5 sound to them and they’re awesome! I hope this helps! But fr though I agree, Gen 5 really did have some of the best music in the series and it’s a shame that even a remake probably won’t sound and good as the original.
@@shinysteve9965hot take: gen 5 might be one of the most controversial remakes. Reason being because people will be mad if they make it 3D like the current games or about not have the unique art style which is gonna be very tricky to do especially due to the transition to 3D. TLDR; remakes r gonna be very very mixed and I don’t think there’s gonna be pleasing either side.
@@trevor0078As someone whose favorite games in the series are BW/BW2 I wouldn’t mind the 3D upgrade. I’m more concerned about them making changes that ruin the experience such as making it easier or just straight up cutting things out that were already there. Basically everything that happened to BDSP.
@@TheVera800 I mean the Volo battle is technically a 6v8. I could get behind a 6v12 double battle. May be one of the hardest fights in the entire series, but I’m all for it.
I cant really write in words how this made me feel but for the first two solid minutes all I did was vibe. Incredible, absolutely captures the gen 5 feel
If I had a nickel for everytime a mad, android scientist tried to use a time machine to catch Pokemon, I'd have 2 nickels. It isn't much but it's wierd that it happened twice.
Yo at 0:35 the notes in the background that hold just hit me right in my soul, and gives me all the emotions I feel when I listen to Gen 5 music. You absolutely nailed it 👏👏👏
@@MattDustyParker The thing is, I looked so closely repeatedly before I commented. Obviously I didn't look close enough though because now I can't even see it anymore.
Oh, that would be amazingly. We had never have a double battle as final boss organization. I would love to see that happen someday, likely these two have the potential to do that.
Is there a way to get a 2 on 2 battle, two people who are willing to step up vs Sada and Turo in the same teams they had in the actual games? Would love to see that! Also, are sada and turo holding hands?
No, they aren't holding hands, they have both their hands in their pockets. It is just a little mistake I have seen after uploading it, because someone pointed it out already. 😅
If we didn't have the whole Nintendo Online NES, SNES, N64 library thing and had Virtual Console on Switch, I'd have loved Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald as a Virtual Console purchase. But oh well. But I expect Gen 5 remakes will be on the next future Switch-esque console.
Gen 5 remake is going to be on a new Nintendo's handheld console Every remakes in this series follow the same pattern, FRLG is on GBA, HGSS is on DS, ORAS is on 3DS andand BDSP is on Switch
Why does this game not have a battle tower or battle facility at all, it's a big missed opportunity Oh yeah, excellent style to this theme bw and bw2 have great music
I've made this and it even runs on original hardware (with a flashcard). When I do music in B2W2 style, I am trying to be within the limitations the DS has.
I think it would be great to return to sprites in a 3D world like in the DS games. But after seeing how many people were against the chibi style in BDSP, I don't think that would happen again.
@@hibiki0506 I’ll disagree on that. Atleast for me, I didn’t like the polished chibu style, I preferred the ds aesthetic better- and perhaps they would’ve been more popular if they returned to that style instead.
Sometimes people are forced to realize that their happiness comes at the expense of the world around them. What then? Are you just supposed to dream different dream, or fight tooth and nail for a cause you yourself know is flawed? The expression is self pity, methinks
I personally think the expression is so because it’s supposed to be how the AI doesn’t want to fight but is forced to do so due to his programming. The AI can’t choose its own path. He couldn’t have really been there for Arven, couldn’t have cheered on the player when they defeated Geeta; he can’t even go outside of the lab he’s stuck in. Yet he’s facing someone who can make the choices he couldn’t have, Personally, I think it’s a bittersweet self pity and self reflection. (Anyone’s interpretation is completely valid; I just wanted to put my take out there)
The change to 3D was the biggest mistake. The models of the characters may look good, but that does not help if the whole world looks bad and lags so hard as SV. I've played Scarlet for ~135 hours and my game only shows 126 hours of it because these hours were filled with lags. If we want *good* 3D games, we need a *good* developer for it instead of GF.
@@hibiki0506 I understand your point later on in your reply. But the 1st line, I don't know I really don't agree with that 1 bit sorry - I think the change to 3D was _everything_ for the series and as seen in the extremely strong sales has made many millions happy. The overwhelming majority are very happy with the Direction Pokémon has gone in especially with the fully Open World now. However, of course the game (SV) has flaws: not being able to enter buildings is something GF really need to change. And I agree, they really need to lend world development to Monolith as though the Patches have fixed a ton of the week 1 issues, the game shouldn't be lagging in heavily grassy areas etc. Still, I must say I give the games overall a strong 8/10: I found them, including the celebrated story to be the Best overall Pokémon experiences since gen 6 over 10 years ago. The Open-world was the priority for this gen, similar to Zelda's 'transformation' in Breath: but unlike Breath sacrificing _all_ it's key Dungeons, Scarlet/Violet still give you at least 6 full Gyms. It's amazing to see these out in the Open world, and the feeling you get while exploring is just what people envisioned when they were kids. Bizarrely, most online 'reviewers' seem to have jumped on this bandwagon on rating the game on it's technical flaws, totally ignoring the patches. But for me, I neve want to return to those sprites or anything less than what SV has given Us, for me it has Successfully transitioned the series into the grand scheme of things.
His version was my motivation to make it myself, because it annoys me too much if someone makes a "BW2" version but puts reverb over the song, which doesn't work on the DS like that. My intention was to make it compatible with the game and that's why I am using the limitations that are given. I am sure that it could be done better, because I've never learned how to write music *the right way*, but that's the best I can do with limitations.
