Pokémon Universe was a fan-made MMORPG that started development in 2008 and proved to be too much work for a small team to handle, thus ending up meeting its cancellation in 2015.
Between 2009-2013, I've composed several pieces of music for the game. This soundtrack is a selection of 30 of those pieces. A few of them are demos from early in the project in which I actually used the Game Boy Advance's sound chip to play most instruments through.
This soundtrack is obviously heavily inspired in the original composing style from the first three generations of Pokémon games, with a touch of my own flavor added to the mix. Thus, it feels like old school Pokémon, but fresh at the same time! At its core, it can really just be taken as a soundtrack for a fictional Pokémon game.
