Pokarekare Ana - 2021 COVER Dave Iwikau & Amy Hunt 

As a 76 year old when I was only 7 years old I had a teacher in London who came from New Zealand. She taught the whole class to sing this and I can still remember the class standing swaying our hips while singing this. Happy days long ago, but the memory is still with me.😅

I lived in NZ for just over a year, but I know I left a piece of my soul there. I now live in Canada, but occasionally, Pokarekare Ana sticks to me whenever I miss New Zealand and its beautiful people. Kia ora from Canada! 👋

My Grandmother used to sing this song as a lullaby song when I’m about to sleep in her arms.. before she passed away I asked one of my friends in a STARMAKER to help me look for this song title if it’s still exist and gladly it does exist wow 😢😮❤.. I’m 28 now and still can’t even imagine this is was a song I used to listen before bed.. my grandma passed away last year and now I used to sing this song to my kids before bed 😢❤❤.. missed you granma ❤❤
