Do you know if Prismatic Pearls change anything or nah? Like if the ditto was holding the pearl could it transfer the hidden ability down to the snivy, or is it still strictly the same species

Prismatic pearls don’t change anything with the breeding process, an interesting idea though! They are just used to siphon HA access from 1 pokemon to another that share the same species.

If I have a female Haunter with a hidden ability, when it evolves to Gengar will it keep its ability?

Yes i believe so, but keep in mind gengar doesnt have access to levitate in PokeMMO atm, u can check in the pokedex. It was added to gengar a couple years ago iirc and it was considered to be too strong

Let's say you have a mon, who has the possibility of 3 abilities, one of which is a hidden ability. If I breed the Banette with Ditto, will the Egg retain Frisk? I read online that Ditto gives the egg a 60% chance of a Hidden Ability, and it'd be nice to breed a Frisk+Thief mon. Let's say for example a breed was done with Ditto where the mon to be bred has NO Hidden Ability but rather just 2 regular abilities, but the mon breeding with the Ditto has the ability you want to retain. Will such ability be retained in the breed, or will the Pokemon that you are breeding with the Ditto have a chance of losing its ability that the parent has? Asking to breed a Frisk mon without losing the Frisk ability.

So basically if u never caught a female with ha, ur not able to breed an ot with ha, right?! For example I want an OT Parasect with HA, got other bugs with HA but not being able to transfer it to any Parasect cause I already need 1 to start with?!

Hey, i have a female tepig and i wanted it to have a HA, i tried breeding with a male piloswine with hidden ability but the preview always show it does not work. Why is that?

Because the species which u want HA access on has to have it already within the breed, there is no putting HA onto a pokémon across species, the video explains this further, sorry if anything was unclear. I hope this helps some!

@@arthurmarcelino9838 Unfortunately the only way to put HA on a pokemon like emboar (since its a starter) is via the fire ability patch which can be a bit expensive, but atleast is the cheapest ability patch type. Sorry i wasnt clearer and couldnt respond faster! Hope u get the best HA emboar, its a great pokemon.

I can’t find anything covering normal abilities and how they transfer through breeding. I just lost a decent chunk of money breeding two shroomish when the egg inhereted the males ability instead of the female. What’s the best way to avoid this?

There are Pokemon with 2 abilities to choose. Like for example Sandile / Krok, intimidate and Moxie. When breeding, how to make sure that you are getting the Moxie ability? Or is there anyway to select that when breeding?

does hidden ability always get passed down if the breed is donw correct? because in the main series games its only a 60% chance I think, I don't want to spend tons of money re breeding my amongus only to lose a coinflip

Okey correct me if im wrong İn pokemmo you can get ha pokemon via Ability patch or ability bill Alpha pokemon And breeding of thoose That means you cannot encounter ha pokemon in wild ( like in pokeone mmo game)

you can! Great question, just keep in mind ability pills only work for starter pokemon (minus blaziken because speed boost is not implemented for balancing reasons)

@@vincenzobrancato8273 I totally misread what you typed lmfao, im so sorry. Ability pill DOES NOT WORK for hidden ability, u need the Ability PATCHES. So sorry i totally misread!
