Considering the BW had to change their original plans for team plasma, I get the vibe that Amethio and Gibeon are sort of Horizon's way of making up for having to skip most of the N and Ghetsis stuff. Amethio and N are pretty different all things considered, but they both have that whole manipulated into thinking their respective criminal organisations are right thing going on (although in N's case it was more because of the ideology being installed into him, whereas with Amethio it seems to stem more from a strong sense of filial piety). I love how unpredictable Horizons has been so far and I'm so excited to see what they do with Amethio!
There's nothing to make up for. The N storyline was amazing in the anime, huge improvement from the games, and the BW change of plans saved the series.
@@natalimoina i’ve not watched the N arc so i can’t really comment on the quality of it, but what i meant more was that for the people who were hoping for an anime adaption closer to N’s storyline in the game, this would serve to make up for it in terms of a character going through a redemption arc and switching sides
@@MasterofChaldea015 This person is an Ash fan that worships his era and refuses to acknowledge the pretty reasonable criticisms of it. They said that Team Rocket keeps things interesting when it seems like even the writers got so sick of their shtick by the end.
I love how actually kinda threatening and mature the villains are and also how mature the show itself can get, and also THE THEME FOR THE VILLAINS GOES HARD BRO!!! The ominous choir in the sub is SO GOOD.
Also people forget they weren’t even the main villains of the game… They’re comedic relief thats mostly unimportant to the plot, I’ll never understand why people compare them to rocket and galactic
They weren't even the main villains of the games in the first place, just used as a distraction while the Aether Foundation does its stuff completely unnoticed
Yeah, they were just a gang that was going around messing with people and weren’t super intimidating but the Aether Foundation remedied that issue and reinforced the villain force to make it actually interesting. Team Yell is so much more lame that they’re incomparable..
I think Spinel is the first one (ep 16) to figure out the link between Terapagos, Liko and the six heroes. So, when Amethio told the explorers in ep 26, Spinel was not happy with that. And he constantly belittles Amethio during the series. We now know that Spinel is not loyal from the explorers (with his plans succeeding), and Amethio holds less jealousy and actually be aware of Spinel’s plans(ep 45). I think these two are going to clash hard in the future.

I went into horizons kinda pessimistic and kinda upset that Ash was leaving the anime, but I'm loving the vibe of this show so far. Funnily enough has a one piece feel to it. Adventure, mystery, lots of unanswered puzzles and lore. Loving it.
I've had the honor and pleasure of voicing Amethio in Hebrew and I must say I love the character and can't wait to see what happens with him throughout the show. I also found out that the English voice of Amethio is non other than the legendary Daman Mills (the current voice of Frieza in the DragonBall franchise) and I feel proud and honored to share a character such as Amethio with this phenomenal voice actor! Loved your video!
One thing I like is that these villains are completely original. So if you played the games, you wouldn’t be spoiled on what’s going to happen. Sure, the anime changes things sometimes, but you can usually tell what will happen.
The plot of Horizons bares striking similarities with Yu-Gi-Oh character wise and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 plot wise. It's evident this is a passion project of the staff was was shelved and retooled since most likely mid-XY (early 2015). Another great video! Can't wait to see how Kleavor and Entei will be tackled. Everyone in the RVTs has 2 mons now. Except for Mollie, but I feel like Maushold should be hers. Heck, making all the airship Pokémon be of all crewmates.

Yes! Xeniblade 2 is also my favourite xenoblade. Also, Liko as a protagonist, reminds me of a healthy mixture between Rex and Noah with a shoujo style. She is very quiet, but spends a lot of time to process other person and Pokémon’s feelings in an empathetic and introspective way.She is also a truth-teller with a strong sense of adventerious spirit and justice.

I hope they give team rainbow rocket a story line I feel like it would be a good chance to develop the previous villains better then Ash's saga or the games
Team Rocket trio had an good Introduction, but as they kept doing the same goal over and over! It just got boring and pointless! Worst of all the writers didn’t give them a Proper conclusion. Plus Team Rocket the organization didn’t get defeated and their still out there. I don’t know what the writers were thinking, but maybe they will give them a proper conclusion one day! As for the villains of Horizon they are much more interesting and I can’t wait to see happens next!
Team rocket are a classic and iconic villain trio... the original pokemon just wouldnt be the same without them. They made that series as much as Ash and Pilachu did
I feel that there should be another "Knight of Cerebus" villain alongside Gibeon who serves as Friede's archenemy. I already got a good biography worked out for him: * His name is "Crimson". In the past, he and Friede were once best friends who journeyed all over the world. While Friede was enjoying all the adventures, Crimson was deeply traumatized by the experiences and his warnings to take a safer angle were all zoned out as Friede steered into danger for the sake of the thrill. At one point, Crimson got a nasty scar over his right eye from an Electric attack and was hospitalised. It was that moment Crimson's heart turned black as the ace of spades and ended his friendship with Friede (who was unaware at that point). His hatred against Friede was so *inhuman,* he joined the Explorers in their endeavours to find Rakua. * Compared to the other members, he battles from within the shadows with a voice filter and only shows himself when he has a hostage. He also treats his Pokemon (like his primary Grimmsnarl) as torture tools rather than living beings without any care because in his words, "It's _never_ about love. They were only made to be *kept in line.* THAT is why we CATCH them!" He conducts experiments that even Spinel wouldn't resort to in order to, such as artificially empowerments. * His vendetta against Friede also extends to the other Rising Volt Tacklers, to the point where he tries literal attempts on their lives. At one point, Crimson very nearly murders Roy while ranting about how adventures bring the out worst in people and actually throws him off a great height (Roy was spared because of Spinel's Beheeyem). This wouldn't be swept under the rug in the next episode; Roy would be realistically _traumatized_ by Crimson's attempt on his life and panics every time he appears.
Honestly I don't want to see Armarouge VS Ceruledge battle because: 1. Armarouge is fire/psych type, when Ceruledge is fire/ghost type, so Armarouge will probably end up cooked by type weakness. 2. Armarouge is a long-range-shooter, when Ceruledge is melee&fast, so Ceruledge would probably just dodge all attacks and attack Armarouge with super effective ghost type attacks, so Armarouge will probably end up cooked AGAIN. 3. It would be more interesting to see Meowscarada VS Ceruledge, because: a) Meowscarada is grass/dark type when Ceruledge is fire/ghost type, fire > grass and dark > ghost, what means that both mons have their chances. b) Both mons are melee&fast so their battle would be LEGENDARY. :)
if he has a 10% zygarde then does that mean zygarde complete form cant save the world in times of destruction if not controlled to do so or does it break its own pokeball and disobey his trainer lol
Haven’t watched Horizons ☠️ I don’t know what half he said meant, but I assume this is an alternative universe considering Zygarde is shiny, and Squishy and the other Zygarde piece weren’t. So it really doesn’t have to make sense.
Squishy and the other zygarde is only protecting kalos not the other region And all legendary pokemon have shiny Pokemon horizon are just a game with no plot armor
@@ultronerik128 and pokemon have another timeline if ash is not mention in pokemon horizon it means liko is ash in another timeline just like dia the one who have zeraora in sun and moon
I’ve never hated any fictional character more than Spinel. I mean, great writing and great voice acting, don’t get me wrong! If the show wants me to hate him, they’re clearly doing something right! But the way he brainwashed Liko and more or less left a child isolated in the middle of the city? Never thought I’d say this about a cartoon character, but I really hope Spinel meets his maker.
