Honestly, it was easier for me to enjoy, because you knew exactly what you were getting (a crit). You are getting crit'ed so you don't worry about upping your defense or lowering their attack, because a crit makes that worthless anyway. It just comes down to does your mon have enough HP to survive their attack.

fun fact: when playing through a randomized version of White 2, my sister was doing the final battle with Colress and he had a Purrloin. We kept saying "OMG Colress had the Purrloin!!!!!" jokingly of course

I wonder if it would be possible to have a run where the mods themselves randomize after like every gym or something? So for a while you have all crits, then after gym 1 you start stealing your opponents teams, and then its evos every level after gym 2 and so on. So you literally never know what's coming in the future.

Just started vanilla nuzlockes after seeing your stuff. Running through platinum right now. Wayward cave could have given me a bronzor or gible and gave me an Onix. Feels bad man lol

Now if you had done this in gen 4, the "Insta kill" bug would make it impossible. For those that didn't know, there is a coding error in gen 4 games that make crits do MORE Damage then they are meant to

Speaking of critical hits anyone ever only get critical hits when you want to catch the Pokémon and it makes it faint but in a trainer battle only the opposing trainer gets critical hits?

Critical hits are both the best and worst things that can happen to you in Nuzlockes. At one moment, they can save yourself from dying to a gym leader, but they can also cause you to rage and freak out when your Pokémon dies to a crit.

How about every enemy pokemon moves is super effective no matter the type weakness or advantage you have For example you have a grass type pokemon and the opponent uses a water type move You would expect it to be not very effective but it turns out to be super effective

Basically every battle is an "Inverse Battle" which do exist in some mainline games I think where the type effectiveness are switched around.

status moves should be able to crit ngl what would it do? double the moves effectiveness moves like poison powder would do toxic poison upon impact with a crit toxic would have 100 accuracy with a crit confuse ray would confuse for longer with a crit so on
