So IV breeding must be before EV training of the particular Pokemon? Aerodactyls can only come in fossils and I want a perfect IV one, mine is Jolly nature

I would like to throw out there that if you breed two pokemon of different species (Example a Tailow and a Pidgey) the baby Pokemon will almost always (if not always) be the same Pokemon as its mother. Also female Pokemon have nearly a 90% chance to pass its ability to the baby, so thats a helpful tip for passing Hidden Abilities to the babies.

So, if I got a 6 IV ditto, I will pass down all the IV's to the pokemon I wanted? That's awesome! I know I can get a free 6 IV ditto from a reddit forum, I recommend everyone wanting to breed IF this method works to check that out.

This is a great video, and I'm basically using it as a guide to IV breed an Aron (Mega Aggron wall, here I come). Interesting thing to note that you missed out, Magma Armor and Flame Body stack with each other. So, if you get one pokemon with Flame Body and another with Magma Armor, eggs hatch in 1/4 of the time they normally would.

A quick tip from a former beginner for those who *still* don't understand: There's a few subreddits out there focused on giving free perfect IV ditties to trainers. The one I use is r/morebreedingdittos, or something along those lines.

With this newfound knowledge, I SHALL CREATE THE PERFECT GARCHOMP! (i already do super training so that helps) Maybe Clefable if I can be bothered, but I got a naughty Garchomp already.

I got a 4IV Greninja and Shiny Honedge and a lot of 3-4 maybe even 2 or 3 5IV Gible and Deino's in the PC.

If yiu want to get a higg search level on ypur dexnav tp increase the chance of more ivs and eggmoves etc just use sweet scent and horde encounter them that way you can get up to at least level 200 in no time

In regards to destiny knot. Is it 5 IVs from both parents at random, or IVs at random from only the pokemon holding the item?

Hey. just a question. can both the power item and destiny knot work at the same time. Lets say the mum has 5perfect IVs, less HP. And the dad has perfect HP IV. In this case, if the dad holds power weight. And the mum holds destiny knot. Would my bred pokemon have 6 perfect iv?

If I breed using ditto and a lvl 1 charmander, who should I give the ever stone to? And who should I give the destiny knot to? Does it matter?

Can you do this with Ditto? and just perma use destiny on one and power item on ditto to guarantee a bunch of stats right off the bat

HELP: ok so i am trying to breed a beedrill and i traded someguy a shiny altaria i got for a five iv ditto (all except speed, yeah the super important one) and I am having a ludicrous time trying to get any weedle with a speed iv. so i guess the question is do I have to have a weedle with perfect speed to at least have a chance at getting the Iv or can i just keep breeding?

Help!! Im breeding scyther. One of them has hp, atk, sp def, and speed. The other one has def ivs. Every time i breed im only getting pokemon with ivs from one pokemon not the other. Ex ill hatch 2 eggs one will have ivs from the first poke or the def iv from the second poke. Am i breeding right?

I have 2 questions, 1 if u have a pokemon who has 5 perfect IVs holding a Destiny Knot and another who has the 6th perfect IV holding a power item for his IV will it force the Destiny Knot 2 pass down the other 5 IVs that the Power item doesn't cover? And my seconds question is if you breed 2 pokemon who have all 6 perfect IVs will that guaranty that the off spring will have 6 perfect IVs?

I'm JaySwizzle and I give this guide a five out of five, the only complaint I have though is that most of the time, you have to get a female of the Pokemon and it usually has to be in its adult stage to be compatible for having an egg with Ditto (as most male Pokemon, or all the ones I've tried, are not compatible with it-- though I guess Manaphy is one of those odd genderless exceptions).

Was looking for information on breeding, but not for IVs (I actually wanted to breed the code-granted Samurott/Emboar/Serperior to get the unevolved versions for pokedex filling), but for some reason, I check with the day care egg NPC out front but he says they don't like playing with each other, despite them being in the same egg category, and obviously being different IDs. Anyone know why?

Right, I need help. I have a male charizard with max IV's in HP, Def, Sp DEF and Speed. He is also the right nature I want but I would like max ivs in special attack as charizard Y needs that. How do I go about that? I give my Charizard the item to keep it's nature then get a charmander female with Max IV's in SP Atk and breed them?
