Pokemon Sword and Shield Game Info:
Begin your adventure as a Pokémon Trainer by choosing one of three new partner Pokémon: Grookey, Scorbunny, or Sobble. Then embark on a journey in the new Galar region, where you’ll challenge the troublemakers of Team Yell while unraveling the mystery behind the Legendary Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta! Explore the Wild Area, a vast expanse of land where the player can freely control the camera. Team up with three other players locally or online in the new multiplayer co-op Max Raid Battles* in which players will face off against gigantic and super-strong Pokémon known as Dynamax Pokémon.
Certain Pokémon can even Gigantamax to gain a new look and a powerful set of G-Max moves. But there’s more to being a champion than honing your battle skills: you can pick your own clothes and get a new hairdo while visiting the stores in town, so you can be the Trainer you want to be. Throughout your journey, you’ll encounter newly discovered Pokémon as well as familiar ones that will look a little different in their new Galarian forms! And for another way to level up your Pokémon, assign them, Poké Jobs, to complete. You can even play with your Pokémon in Pokémon Camp, just for fun!

@@A_Random_Rat I admittedly agree with that, but man I miss that feeling of exploring an area or even getting an event to get a legendary, heck even X and Y got that down atleast a little. And to be honest i'd prefer kinda uncreative portals to nothing at all, atleast there was something cool with it, even if it was kinda lazy.

I represent 1:27 Exactly. I miss exploring an area, and accidentally finding a legendary in their environment. The portals were so lazy. I miss the childhood wonder. I’d personally rather have no legendaries than portals, but that’s just me.

@@A_Random_Rat Well I think the two reasons the portals didn't bother me was 1. There was technically a reason for them, even if they weren't close to as interesting as, say, blowing flutes to find god, or time travel, and 2. At least it was something to find, even if lazy, and honestly still kinda interesting, not exactly better than nothing, though I will say of course I prefer actually finding legendaries in a location, and the best one in this case fo me might be gen 4, though I gen's 3 and 5 are close, and gen 5 had the stuff with darkrai and cresselia which was something that I wish we had in the newer games, and gen 3 was just cool all aroun, even if a bit less interesting with it. Though the new stuff atleast doesn't have roaming pokemon so hey that's something.

@@Nosretep I think they mean by people are treating it as if it were the first poison/dragon type in the franchise when we do in fact have Dragalge and Naganadel who are both poison/dragon types. Just like how people are excited about Applin's evolution chain being grass/dragon and Dreepy's evolution chain being ghost/dragon, even though we have Alolan Exeggutor and Mega Sceptile who are grass/dragon and Giratina who is ghost/dragon.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of catching Eternatus easily after an epic fight. It feels more like getting a free legendary compared to previous games where you battle the 3rd legendary of the main legendary trio and wasting your pokeballs to give you more of a challenge. Kyurem still haunts me til this day.

If you fill all your boxes, there is a hidden one that unlocks only after this battle to ensure Eternatus has a spot to be stored in your PC. If you had no Pokeballs of any kind, they sneak one in your backpack when it's time to catch it.

...Arceus didn't make type null though, people at aether foundation did (sun n moon) However type null is supposed to be a man made version of arceus in an attempt to replicate its power. Btw I dunno if you worded it wrong or anything if you didn't know then it was just to clear it up :)

Ok the battle with Eteratus final phase i can tell that its a 100% catch no matter what ball you throw

What makes it even more 100% is that no matter what you do the game has fail safes in place to ensure you WILL catch it no matter what. Filled all 31 boxes? This battle unlocks the hidden 32nd box. Got no Pokeballs left? They snuck one into your backpack without looking. There is absolutely no way you can fail to catch Eternatus.

Im not really sure but i have a theory here Zacian and Zamazenta probably only opened up to victor (the protagonist in the game) and hop because they could be the 2 kings reincarnated (the ones mentioned in the old writings n stuff). Even though the 2 kings were Zacian and Zamazenta, those 2 pokemon have lived from the darkest day till now in which they haven’t died. It must mean that hop and victor could be reincarnates of zacian and zamazenta’s trainers, and wouldn’t you find it strange that suddenly the story of the 2 kings were ditched and left behind? I also have a feeling that the hero mentioned is the father of the 2 kings while when he took him and eternatus down with his life, while eternatus was split into two other pokemon which was zacian and zamazenta. The 2 kings soon found the 2 pokemon and caught them and when it was time for the 2 kings to pass on, they sealed the 2 pokemon in the slumbering weald and left the sacred sword and shield on the ground for someone worthy to catch the pokemon. I know i know its possible for the trainer to be strong enough but have a bad heart and thats for zacian and zamazenta to decide. I think that the 2 pokemon have secretly been watching over all people in galar because they knew their trainer’s intentions was to find someone who can prove themselves worthy of catching them.

actually ALL the legendaries from every region are secret Pokemon and you have to unlock them or complete the Pokedex first, but they can be received by (maybe) finishing the game.

Did anyone notice Eternamax Eternatus has some of the black armour stuff like necrozma? Maybe Eternatus's original form had it all over its body simaler to necrozma and that's what broke of after it's original defeat Eternatus does look like a UB anyways they even both fell from the sky I believe Eternatus and Necrozma have a very alike or the even the same origin possibly created and sent to earth by Giratina through ultra wormholes which are part of the reverse/distortion world to take control of the world and take revenge on Arceus for its banishment

Zacian almost swept me because I did not have thunder wave and it’s started using swords dance and I resorted to using my master ball..

It’s a great idea not to use the Master ball on Zacian/Zamazenta unless you really like the look. I caught mine in Timer ball and the battle repeats until you manage to catch them. I saved my Master ball... well... until I tossed it at a Gigantamax Corviknight 😂

Gigantimax Pokemon that you aren't hosting max raids for (the ones you joined someone else's lobby for) has the same catch rate as a Mewtwo. The catch rate is 3. If you own Sword, you may want to save it for G-Max Lapras or Gengar as they are impossible to obtain in Sword without help from Shield players. Same goes for Shield when it comes to Machamp and Coalossal. Still, a Corviknight that is G-Max isn't the worst thing to use it on.

I used a master ball to catch Zacian, not because of the look, but because of the 100% guarantee catch rate. I used by other master ball that I obtained in Crown Tundra to catch, wait for it, a Beldum. Their evolution line has the same catch rate as legendaries. I used a mix of timer, ultra, and dusk balls to catch the DLC legendaries.
