Considering how many card games are getting ridiculously expensive, (Vanguard's $40 promos and staples, Grand Archive...all of it, and staples in Shadowverse) its nice to know Pokemon has found a way to have a huge audience and still be the cheapest game to build multiple decks.
It’s so annoying how mew vmax can get around spiritomb. Even if manaphy is in play, they can use oricorio’s glistening droplets attack without using boss’ orders. Also, I didn’t know that genesect v can use its ability when a fusion strike energy is attached to it when spiritomb is in play.
Spiritomb states: Basic pokémon in play have no abilities, but fusion strike energy says: Ignore all effects of your opponents pokemons abilities done to the fusion strike pokemon this card is attached to@@mo-hans
I'd like to see this where both decks use the cheapest versions of cards available- the other deck is only £500 because of the promos and alt arts hahahaha so its more like "this deck costs at least this much" so feels a tad misleading- but its still always nice to find budget single prize decks that can beat the fancy meta decks lol
It's still a very playable and consistent deck, just a bit worse off now that Iono + Spiritomb is in the format. But as we saw in the video, that can be reasonably subverted.
Definitely has some hurdles to jump over with Tomb in format but they still have fusion energy and euiscue as a soft defence! Definitely not a top 5 Deck anymore but wouldn't say its unplayable tho 🙏
