I always felt like Gen 9 Mons needed lots of evolutions. So many of them have that Gen 2 feel, where they don’t feel fully evolved. Pokémon like Spidops, Scovillian, Grafaiai, Flamigo, and all of the Titan Pokémon (Klawf, Dondozo, Tatsugiri, and Orthworm) are just a few examples of newer mons that don’t feel finished.

Jynx should get a mirrored regional variant and evolution to Mr. Mimes Sword/Shield form. Mr. Mime went from Psychic/Fairy to Ice/Psychic, so Jynx could go from Ice/Psychic to Psychic/Fairy. They truly are basically counterparts. She deserves it!

Kricketune really needs an evolution and Krickemarch is without a doubt a perfect example for one, Operynx is also phenomenal !

I think Plusle and Minun need a baby form that diverges, like Tyrogue, that is based on zero, or null. As a sort of play into how zero is the start to all numbers. Going forwards or backwards, zero is the starting point.

Most of the problems with Jynx come from a mix of ethnocentrism, short sightedness, and a touch of projecting. After all, her original appearance (and the one that she has now) reflect a yokai as well as an....unusual trend during the 90s in Japan.

I would definitely love a Pikaclone pre-evolution video, i'm interested to see how they could be made both smaller and cuter. Especially Togedemaru who's just a ball 🤣

It’s so funny that they replaced Jynx with Rhyhorn. I think the coolest Jynx evolution I’ve seen is one that adapts the faint animation from Stadium to suggest that Jynx’s hair and body are not the Pokémon and it’s just a living ball of ice

Pikaclone pre-evolutions are something I’d absolutely love to see in the games, as well as evolutions! I always wanted to see Pachirisu evolve from a little, electric chipmunk Pokémon.

The one thing I would love to see more of is regional variants of final starter evolutions. What we got in Arceus was so good, I really hope we get another Legends game just so we can get more starters! I loved the ones made for the fan made Legends Celebi trailer!

I like how the Luvdisc evolution idea shows a pair of them, which makes me think maybe they can instead evolve when another Luvdisc of the opposite gender is on the party. This would make them similar to Tandemaus and fusions like Kyurem or Necrozma but permanent.

I think Dudunsparce is a good pokemon, not only is it funny, but it also puts dunsparces moveset to good use.

I’ve always wanted an evolution for Jynx for the longest time for the very reason you stated, though my interpretation of it would still have elements of the operatic singer as you mentioned, but included part of a Valkyrie warrior which included an Nordic spear. Also, since there’s not much of a strong naming theme between Smoochum and Jynx, my evolution name for the third stage would be Fjordame (Fjord + dame) to further link it to the Valkyrie concept.

I feel that klefkey should get a evolution ( maybe referencing doors or “the key to happiness” referencing the fairy type. Overall klefkey is just a very underwhelming mon that deserves something more.(Maybe in a legends zygarde a concept that I’ve been working on)

I just really want my girl Jynx to get an evolution! Girl got left behind :( Always hoping the next gen with give her one!

I love Polartic!!! Onix's evo gets second place (I've always liked Onix) And the Jinx evolution is neat.

ledyba/ledian are also pokemon that need evolutions. ledian's abysmal attack stat could use improving via an evolution. potential looks for it might have it so that such a theoretical evolution be based on a super hero or power ranger. it would look awesome.

I would definitely like more baby Pokémon. As for new 2nd evolutions, it depends a lot on how they look. I don't think they all should just be taller, fatter, more muscular, more aggressive... That's why I don't like your Sunflora or Jynx evolution suggestion - Jynx already looks like a grown-up woman, its evolution does not have to be several heads taller and/or be much thicker. That's what I think they did wrong in Generation 4 with Lickilicky, Magmortar, Electivire. So for Jynx as an opera singer I would go for a different hair style, maybe makeup, but not taller and wider.

Something rare yet funny I hope is that Scyther gets a 3 evolution where it becomes Bug & Grass, so we can have the "Rock/Paper/Scissor" pokemon.

Polartic could also gain the fairy type due to associations with the aurora borealis. It would be so cool to see a new heavy hitting ice/fairy type, and maybe give it a new physical fairy type move

I had the idea of a regional Onix based on the crystal Onix. A pure fairy type. It’s that blue crystal we saw in the series and it’s based on magical stones. It trade evolves with a new item “Drake Coat.” Becoming a magenta colored crystal Steelix called “Drakonix” and fairy/dragon type. I chose dragon because of Onix/Steelix using some dragon moves but also being a snake. I still can’t believe Sunflora didn’t get a new evo/form in Paldea. Grass/Fire would make sense but really anything would help it. I’m one of the few people that love Jynx. I got Zynx as a trade Pokémon in Fire Red and loved her. She was also part of that elemental trio with Electabuzz and Magmar. Yeah it was a duel type so it was kinda separated from them but they just were next to each other in the Dex and got baby prevos. On top of it getting the fairy type in Gen 6, getting rid of the psychic type, it should have gotten an evo in Gen 4 with its counterparts. It also becoming an ice/fairy type in Gen 6. The opera singer motif definitely works for her. I would actually expand on her origins of being a spirit of a dead woman in the snow. While we did get Froslass that same Gen which was even more related to that folktale, there’s no rule why we can’t have 2 of them with that inspiration. An ice/fairy that floats *like* a ghost but isn’t. A flowing red dress with wispy aspects. It’s head covered by a hood with its long blond hair braided downward into a necklace where an ice crystal is. It gets 3 eyes now but they aren’t soulless looking.

I agree, Jynx needs some evolution love as well which is why I have a 3rd stage evolution for her called Ariadonna: following in the opera trope, from the words Aria and Prima Donna or First Lady (I hope I have that right) and has a song based attack called Aria

Sunflora needs a harvest form that is withered and ghostly. Maybe a branching third evolution that uses its seeds as a weapon and it can feature moves like bullet punch and bullet seed

I like that Gen 2 had cross evolution with both baby forms and older ones. And I think the final baby forme were in Sinnoh? With Bonsly and Azurill and then never again. They were so simply cute and tiny.

Im rly hoping that one of my favs Granbull gets some love soon. with a base stat total 450 i rly think it has an oppertunity to get the galarian zigzagoon treatment. I would also love to see jynx get some love/fixing in the form of an evo caus i rly like it for whatever reason 😅

Something that hasn't been done before, but could be very interesting in my opinion would be pre-evolutions that can evolve into several already existing Pokémon, how it was done with Tyrogue. So could be one for Luvdisc and Alomomola. Or one that evolves into two different bear/monkey/similar plant type/fish/mouse/dog/fungus/... Pokémon that so far only have one evolution. I think Taurus/Miltank already have Fakemon pre-evolutions.

I like the idea of a salamence of every type because in bagon's pokedex entries it states bagon dreams of flying therefore evolving to be a dragon flying type. But what if the bagon does not dream of flying? Does it's typing as a salamence change?

The ice onix looked so cool and has tiny crystals, very pretty! I like this design and Polartic too! If thoses pokemons will exist, i'm gonna use them in my team 😀 Sunthesus made me think of Inceneroar... the flames are nice but he's more human than pokemon. It's a bit weird! I always find Inceneroar a bit ugly plus he would be cooler as a saberthooth tiger. His design is not stupid or boring, just dissapointing to me.

The Pokémon designers need to looo at fan made drawings more. They’re 9.5 times out of 10 better than what we end up with haha. All the designs were awesome and definitely gonna check some more of ur vids out 👊✨ divisun was absolutely spot on btw 👌 big up

Personally I like the idea of a Jynx evolution, but one which perhaps plays into the whole controversy around it, and have it wear a theater mask. Keep it as Psychic/Ice, and give it an ability like Ice Face, however unlike Eiscue, when it loses it's mask it becomes Ice/Dark or Ice/Ghost. She could be named something like Ophertuna, combing opera, overture, 'O fotuna', and Ophelia (as her fate was decided by others). On a similar vein, Kricketune's evolution HAS to be named Kricketure (incorporating that the latter half of linen's name begins with 't' and uses 'overture'). Perhaps it could gain access to the move 'Instruct' and an ability that's the 'classical' contemporary to Punk Rock.

It would be cool to see a Zorua of every type!🦊

I guess Marill technically was the first Pikaclone to evolve (if that even counts). I think Pachirisu should evolve. It would be an evolution fit for a champion.

I am a fond fan of Kricketune and Krickemarch is just so fun and awesomely designed I need it in real life!

I actually had an evolution idea for Kricketune stewing in my mind for ages and I'm really proud of what I have so far, but regardless... Krickestra - The Bard Pokemon Bug / Dragon Ability: Prankster Hidden Ability: Technician Evolves from Male Kricketune after learning "Draconic Ballad" at level 40. (Male specifically since it's meant to be counterpart to a Female-only Ledian evolution, "Ledinova" which...I haven't thought of nearly as much) Basically it's based off the concept of a Dungeons and Dragons Bard, with the songs it's capable of playing having a soothing effect on all the most vicious of monsters, especially dragons, with it also having a bit of snake-charmer inspirations...but mostly the DnD bard thing, hence the Dragon type. And being the showman it is, it will often coerce a varied troop of dragons and beasts to either protect it through intimidation or sing along with it. Draconic Ballad is a status move which when used on an opponent will steal any boosts they might have had. If used on an ally in doubles, the ally will copy Krickestra's boosts. I imagine it would focus more heavily on its offenses, taking advantage of those sharpened forelegs of his, though with his Special Attack at a solid second place allowing him to still use Hyper Voice or Draco Meteor. It could take a slight hit to its durability seeing how its new role is geared toward support with Draconic Ballad and Prankster-boosted Sticky Web. (And yeah, Prankster is mostly a reference to the generally mischievous natures of most DnD Bards) I think it would also finally give the Kricketune line some actual competitive usage as either a setup sweeper with Dragon Dance, a sweep-_counter_ with Draconic Ballad, or just the tried and true Prankster-Sticky Web

I LOVE the Luvdisc evos. The second example is especially creative because of its design inspiration.

Given the current state of racial issues within America, I think that if Game Freak put out a Jynx evolution then there would be way more drama over it than is actually deserved. (I say 'actually deserved' because Game Freak is situated in Japan and obviously they had no idea that Jynx would be considered so offensive in America, and they did change its skin color specifically in response to the controversy. But the internet would definitely lose their minds over a Jynx evo and Game Freak surely knows it.)

I love Delcatty. He's one of my favorite underrated Pokémon. So when Generation 6 introduced the Fairy-Type I was absolutely gutted to find out that neither Skitty or him gained it because I think they deserved it more than other Pokémon ( I'm a Mr. Mime hater. 🤧 ) So an evolution or new variation where the whole Skitty line rightfully gains the Fairy-Type would make me so unbelievably happy. 😭 Speaking of underrated Normal-Type Pokémon? I feel like the Mincinno line should gain an extra stage of some kind ( either a baby that evolves into Mincinno or Cincinno getting an evolution ) since they're counterparts to the Clefairy and Jigglypuff lines. Which ended up getting baby pre-evolutions a generation after being introduced.

I would absolutely adore a pika-clone pre-evo video! I've always had a soft spot for those zappy rodents and to have them be even cuter would probably give me a heart attack from the sheer joy.

Mightyena watched Linoone get both a regional form and an evolution while it wasn't let into Gens 8 and 9. We need to do Mightyena justice.

I agree 10000% ! They are either scared or have no ideas to give Jynx an evolution i also think that Cloyster could get a new evolution. I have seen many amazing desings online that would be awesome.

Gen 3 needs some love imo, so many great designs that just aren’t viable for E4 cause they only have 1 or 2 stages. I have always wanted a Tropius evo, love it’s design but it just wish it was stronger. As others have said Zangoose and Seviper could also have great evos. Personally I’d love a Crawdaunt evo but that’s mostly cause Corphish is my favourite Pokémon. And finally I always found it weird that Swellow didn’t have a 3rd stage like most of the other early game birds but tbh it’s pretty strong already so not sure if a third stage is necessary.

Pikaclone pre-evolutions? Yes please

There are LOTS of potential evolutions out there, but the Pokémon that need them most are in part stage 3 Pokémon. I've been trying to make an evolution of Beautifly. Pokémon like Meganium and Ampharos which are avoided competitively are actually pretty powerful, so any evolution to them would likely need to be in the postgame.
