People are always talking about flare blitz, but personally I think one of the funniest ways to get people is use fly instead as soon as you swap. That freeze-frame when someone hits your super armor as they're scooped into the sky is just so good

I like Pokémon trainer and I was wondering if you could do a video off how to get better and stuff ok love your vids

Pokemon Trainer is amazing, if anyone wants some tips, here you go: You can start as any pokemon, but squirtle is the best at low percents anyway so don't change that. Withdraw has a weird startup delay, so use it often to trip up opponents. Be careful near the ledge though, you don't want to SD. If you do miss near the ledge, hold the opposite direction to stop early. Do not get stepped on while using withdraw. While using it you can be footstooled very easily and it will flip you over, which lasts long enough for them to hit you with an fsmash. Switch pokemon according to your damage. Squirtle is light and therefore easier to launch, so swap to ivysaur at 50-80%. Over 100% and charizard is your only option, the others can't take hits at that percent. Charizard's fair is great off the ledge, but your chosen aerial with him should be bair. It's strong and has a tipper, with decent startup time. All three pokemon can pull of a simple true combo at certain percents: dthrow > uspecial. Squirtle's is simple, but they have a window to escape if used above 30%, maybe less depending on weight. Charizard's may require you to step forward a bit after the throw. Ivysaur's is by far the best and safest, and it's kinda like throwing up a baseball before whacking it. Just angle the uspecial forward. Doesn't work at really low percents (under 20% is risky). Finnally, utilize the nuetral specials! Water gun can beat any medium recovery and it charges fast. Fun fact: squirtle only loses his water gun charge if HE gets K.O.d if you charge, swap, and then die, he'll keep the charge. Ivysaur's is fantastic. If you knoe they're going to roll into you, it's perfect. It can hit opponents standing next to you and pick them up into the line of fire. Hold the button to make it last longer. Fire breath is good for some quick damage. Angle it down at the ledge to cover the ledge. You can get some extra damage and raise their heart rate for a second, but it won't kill except against specific characters. Squirtle and charizard have great recoveries, but sometimes ivysaur doesn't hit the ledge. The second it misses, switch out. Charizard will have at least one jump and fly, which grabs the ledge much more reliably. As a final note: switching out mid-combo sounds nice, but it doesn't actually work all that well. Never EVER switch off the ledge unless you need another pokemon's recovery. You could easily end up SDing if you miscalculate the next pokemon's recovery. But if you need one of ivysaur's spikes or one of charizard's powerful moves or squirtle's water gun amd speed, don't be afraid to switch. The only time you should never switch out is when you're at 204% with charizard from spamming flare blitz...
