Amazing approach to everything! Quick but not lightning-quick, legible speech, very practical visual effects, cheatsheets (and denomination suggestions) to pause the video on, the color grading and contrast is perfect, the examples are very helpful if you're a first-time teacher. I am learning so much from you -- not just about the game, but about teaching the game. Thank you very much!
Really good explanation, visuals and clear information. Just a simple question, how many times you can raise or call in pre-flop, flop, river and turn in Texas Hold'em Lets say: Player A- raises the initial bet and Player- B calls it in flop round , does the round end there? or what if Player A- raises again or call the same amount continuously in the flop round? Can you explain that?
Great question. In typical play, if all players either call or fold after a raise, the betting round concludes. However, if another player raises after the initial raise, Player A (the initial raiser) gets the chance to respond by either calling the new raise or re-raising if they’d like. For example, if Player A raises to $10 and Player B calls the $10 and raises to $20, Player A can then choose to call the additional $10 (making their total bet $20) or re-raise to an amount higher than $20. This process can continue until all players have either called the final raise or folded.
Every player isn’t required to put in money with an ante, only those wishing to play that hand… ya know, semantics! 😂 I get your point though. It’s the way I was taught, an ante as the required bet to put forward before being allowed to play. In the case of Hold’em that’s the big and small blinds who have to put up chips in order to play. I suppose a text book would say differently, so thanks for adding that here to help clear up any confusion and making these videos stronger. Much appreciated!
