Hi, its impossible to choose record mode and switch between modes like in 0:45. I only se two moving dots then it loads full with 6 green dots on. How do i start a record mode?
Hello. I received this as a gift. I am trying to record my heart rate during ice plunge baths. All I really need is the heart rate monitor. What is the best way to go about this?
Howdy! I suggest you to for example use "other indoor" training mode during your ice bath and you'll get your heart rate while doing it. I hope this helps.
I want to pair the Polar Verity with the Ignite for open water swimming. Will it accurately show HR and distance for freestyle swimming. (The Ignite is next to useless for distance calculations in the water )
Hi there and cheers for reaching out! When using Polar Ignite while swimming you can see your heart rate and distance on the display of the watch itself. Make sure you customize what is shown on the display in the sport profiles section in the Flow web service. What comes to the Polar Verity Sense for open water swimming, you can only track your heart rate. I hope this helps.
Hi Ricardo! Yes, Polar Verity Sense can be used for running. In the 'recording' mode, Verity Sense will record your heart rate while running. I hope this helps. 😊
I have OH1 and sometimes it's hard to get an accurate heart rate reading when i'm doing activities that involve irregular hand/arm movements, is Varietry Sense better than OH1 to deal with it?
Hi Thiago and thanks for asking. Well, Polar Verity Sense is an improved version of Polar OH1. The sensor is identical in size but has a lot of improvements in terms of usability and performance. Verity Sense has a longer battery life (up to 20 h), swimming metrics (distance and pace for pool swimming), and higher water resistance (50 m) to name a few. Also, its new armband attachment solution provides a higher Bluetooth® range and ensures that the sensor is held in place properly using the new frame design improvement. Hi there! You can either connect Polar Verity Sense to a sports watch or app to see your workout in real time or record your workout in the internal memory and view your data afterwards. I hope this helps.
Hi there! I just got this sensor but confused about the difference in calorie burn between 2 exactly same boxing workouts I did this week. Is there like, a learning time or something for this sensor? I used recording mode for both workouts. It involved 20 min of boxing on a bag plus multiple dumbbell upper and lower body strength exercises. Both times I wore the sensor on my left upperarm. Does it matter on which side of your arm the sensor touches the skin(as in, inside of arm, biceps or outside, triceps?) and/ or should I wear it on my lower arm instead? ( not ideal when boxing though;)
Howdy and thanks for reaching out! This can be caused by the intensity of the two training sessions. However, to be sure pleas get in touch with our support team. Send them a brief explanation of your situation and your device ID and they will assist you further. You can find them here: support.polar.com/en
