Awesome vid man I really need to do this to mine so I can save some money but I just don't have the confidence that I'll be able to find out how to put it back together
It depends on your bore. If it is stock you will get a standard piston. If you need it bored, you need to have an eversized piston and take it to a machine shop and have them match it.
Do I need to pull my motor out to replace the piston? I just checked mine and I have a nice hole in the piston closes to the back, I know this is 12 years old! I appreciate your help
Too bad you didn't show how to install the rings. Also, where did you get the tools for the compression test. How is it done? It's ok hearing what you did but showing how you did it would be better.
I have been working on two stroke jet skis for almost 15 years you better do a fuel pressure check just a bad gas cap seal will blow the Piston out of your engine and on that particular ski you need to upgrade to a 3 line fuel pump and get rid of the two line pump or it will cause a lean condition Polaris is known for this also those reins should have cost you about $26 per piston and you want to Mike the Pistons and make sure that they are no more than one meal over I must be within a certain tolerance of each other or the motor will be out of time there is a lot to getting those to run right but if you know what you're doing they will run great that's called the Blue Fuji motor
I have a 96 780 the center piston was bad and when we removed it we relied it had a decent size piece broke off. We had the jug honed and replaced the piston. My question is do I need to crack the casein order to remove the lost pieces? Where did the remnants go?
And you need to spray copper seal on your head gaskets before you put it together because it will start to leak compression the spray can copper seal is great for those compress head gaskets and I don't care what they tell you at the place you purchase them you need to spray them
Is there any chance you could contact me i have a few questions about our polaris 750 1993. I can't seem to get the fly wheel off please help am I missing something
hey i have a seadoo spx and my jug went how do you put the put the jug on do you compress the rings and slide the jug over the piston? please respond i need help
