I just did this job(same sled) if you disconnect upper frame work and nudge it out of the way,steering vertical rod free to float,you can remove both valves intact w/out removing exhaust system,better to bench assemble both valves
Use of wire brush is a big NO because it scatches the valve and the gum will adhere faster and stronger next time. Even the manual says no wire brush...
I'll give you a trick so you do not have to remove your VES anymore... Polaris Extreme Oil and half a can of Seafoam in your gas tank... Your VES will be super clean ! Polaris Extreme VES Oil barely smokes and the sea foam get's rid of carbon build up. Just my 2 cents. Great video anyhow. I did a similar video to yourse 4 or 5 years ago.
