Quite the machine mate! Casting wouldn’t let me bring charcloth with my flint and steel so I had to get me a metal match. Took awhile to get the hang of it but I trust it now.
Happy New Year Lobo Predator Control ! You have been Blessed ! You have a lovely family and are so fortunate to be making memories with Wyatt, your wife and "man's best friend" in tow. ( Sans your other Son lost to love ( his girlfriend) ha lol. I like the tracks are your rig; hopefully that will help expedite your trapping endeavors. Wishing you and your beautiful family the very best. Warmest Regards from Arizona.
That dried moss that hangs off the tree branches is what my grandfather taught me to use for tinder and he always gave us a chunk of pitchy yellow pine to carry to shave off, that stuff lights up easy.
My grandfather called that moss old man's beard, the boy and I are gonna give an honest go at making a fire with these things lol. He wants to learn bow drill to so I guess we will be having some fun with that adventure, myself I think I'm going to be missing my Bic
You will really enjoy the tracks man, especially in a year like this one. It allows me to access places to trap that other wise would not be able to get there. Enjoy
I'm kinda a bic man too, lol. Looks like the tracks are working fine on the General. You might have to quit calling your wife the Ol' Lady. She looks like she's 25! Good show Brother. Good to see you!
Sweet ride man, I've been trying real hard to convince myself I don't need one 🤣 I found where our local dogs are cycling through these days, but setting up there is asking for a bunch of steel to disappear
Dude, that thing looks legit, give paul some hell for me lol. As for fire starter, theres nothing better then a cotton ball with some vaseline on it. Menthol works good also.
Man that thing is sweet seems like the gearing or something is off tho? Like the motor is working harder then it should..??? Idk maybe not but can’t beat family time!
I've been running it in low range, I hear that it's better for the belt and they say to do that while breaking in a new belt. It was running about 5k rpm. It sure is slow but nice to be able to take the family. Don't think I'll ever catch enough fur to pay for it but sure nice taking the loved ones and having a heater
I wanted to get something that I could take the family along in, not really very cost effective but to be able to bring them along it's worth it. To many days wishing my family could see the views when I've been out on the sled
I'm just getting into trapping and wanting to go after wolves starting next elk season. I was wondering if you would be willing to show me the ropes if you're based in the treasure valley?
No I'm not down there, the Idaho trappers association is having a fur sale this weekend starting Friday that they will be having trapping demos at down in Glenn's ferry. Be lots of great information and demos
I saw the sale was coming up and was planning on making the trip down there for it. Keep doing what you're doing, man. I appreciate your content tight chains.
@@lobopropredatorcontrol Enjoyed the wolf demo the other day . After watching I think the tracks are gonna help me . Thanks for the info on the tracks, gear and set ideas . Stay safe & God bless you & your Family .
Hi Momma bear 🐻, Hi Wyatt 👋, me and my Momma bear knocking on 30 years 👍👍 check out David West for super easy ferro rod fire starts, for you I'd recommend fat wood, should be plenty of old pine knots out on the line. Love the tracks team 🙌
Thanks for that I'll check it out. Wyatt really wants to get into survival stuff and primitive fire building, I've always carried a couple lighters myself so it will be a fun learning process with him.
