I was just looking at a craigslist ad for a 2014 Polaris 325 magnum. It says 4 wheel drive doesn't work. I'm guessing it would be pretty hard to bust a deferential. I'm wondering if it could be a lack of fluid like you were talking about in this video?
It very well could be. The hubs won’t engage without fluid. Easy enough to tell, put it in 4wd see if the front driveshaft turns, and the axle shafts turn. Thanks for watching!
I just picked up the same exact 4 wheeler. I am trying to do a valve adjustment but I cant find the mark for top dead center. Is there another way to find top dead center?
Pull the spark plug, stick your finger in the hole, turn it over until you feel the compression squeeze past your finger. Now it’s on a compression stroke, gently and I mean gently stick a screw driver in the plug hole and very gently turn it over. The screw driver will move up out of the hole, when it starts back down you just passed TDC turn it back a little bit and that’s TDC.
