Can you replace the jug and pistons while motor is still in the machine. I see the top end kits with pistons. I am getting blow bye and have low compression in one cylinder.
Is it possible to remove the timing chain without splitting cases? Also what is the purpose of the U shaped retainer other than keeping the chain in place if dropped from the top?
instead of replacing the head wouldn't it be easier to put a thicker head gasket? Then it would put down the compression and give more room for the piston don't hit the spark plug? This coming from auto tech, those engines might not be possible to do.
7:06 You called out main bearings even after seeing the smashed ground electrode on the spark plug...caused by the extra stroke by wasted rod bearings. Come on man this is first day stuff....lol Just joking btw, great video.
