Everyone complaining about the price is halarious. It's the msrp most times they go for well under that price. Also all manufacturers make cheaper ones. The fox live valve shocks by themselves are over 5 k. Also some say why not a raptor, because Raptors are not as fast agile nor as fun as a sxs. Plus insurance on a sxs is 40 dollars a month insurance on a raptor is over 300 a month in Michigan. Also raptorzls are not 64" wide so you cant take them down most atv trails.
The real question is, is it valuable to me? If so, I determine what is overpriced. So from your perspective, it is overpriced because its value does not meet the cost. For others, they may feel it is underpriced because of the overwhelming joy they feel while driving it. Thus the value in the experience may be priceless. Value coupled with perspective determines worth.....😁
Here’s a tip Polaris...Please construct the doors and have them open like the YAMAHA YXZ! Your backwards hinge point and paper thin doors are pathetic...
Just like auto manufacturers polaris can am honda they have priced me rught out of the market. This thing costs more then my truck did new and its road legal. If the gov would let these be road legal then i would really think about buying one instead of a newer truck.
There's a market for these, which is why they built it. The awesome thing is this one may not suit your budget, but most of the manufacturers all make side-x-sides that will suit a certain budget.
In certain counties in certain states they are mostly road legal. In Stevens County in WA where I live, I can drive it ANYWHERE except the main 395 highway!!! So as long as the speed limit is less than 60mph, I can basically ride it anywhere I want. SUPER awesome with the kids, anytime we needed to go grocery shopping or go get food or ice cream we would take the Maverick Max XRS!!! We are allowed to cross the main highway, just not drive down it.
Too all the people saying , too much electronics ! Unreliable!! Breaks too much!! Won’t work when covered in mud !!! I have a 2018 dynamic , 1800 miles mostly in mud, water. I ride in rain , snow and not a single problem with it !! Knock wood lol !!
Sat in the two door version and at 6’2 the steering wheel blocks the view of the upper portion of the tach and speedometer Who missed that in Engneering Rather have our 2017 xp Don’t care for the center console Hits your leg Everyone is different yes but that was one of the things I like about our 17 Reason we bought over can am at the time
Watch out for Luke this weekend on the Victoria Rail Trail (ATV Autobahn). Oh, I forgot, Kinmount to Fenelon Falls SXS friendly only. Millburn Rd or Kennaway Rd is a nice run for a machine like that
It looks good. Doesn't look like a 4 seater. Stop with the suicide doors please, they suck. My friend has a 2020, it's in the shop again for overheating. Yes, we live in the desert. They need to do more hot weather testing.
Polaris did a lot on this model for keeping people "connected" in a machine that most people drive so they can disconnect from the electronic world. When I am out in the middle of nowhere, my phone is for emergencies. I don't want my SxS to remind me that work has called 4 times during a ride.
Drake Anderson I somewhat agree. These things are way pricey and that’s why It tool me a few years before I bought one. 5 months ago if found a 2019 YXZ as se And if it wasn’t for someone buying it then realized it’s impractical and fast. Too fast for his grandkids. Go figure? So he traded it in with 98 miles. I got it out the door for 16,500.00. Still expensive but not as much as many friends have spent oh yeah, I’ve still have my 99 400ex, 04 cr250r and a 07 trx450r. I bought these new and kept them since resale isn’t all that great. Notice I space my toy payments to one at a time
Was out driving it a few days ago and have some editorial we'll have ready later this week. Also have a walk around video coming this week as well. Stay tuned!!
That’s great that Polaris has a great comfy inside with all kinds of toys! The people inside will have something to do waiting for all the repairs to be made when it breaks down!
It's a point now where a guy would have to seriously considering building his own buggy with the same budget. 40K can go a very long way. It's pretty nice though. Although, I would feel out of place around here with a 40K ride and cruising with guys on $1500 foremans.
i could not get over how bad this looks. i have been a Polaris fanboy from the time i was 12, but went can am now in my late 30s. i wish they would have given me a choice.
