Great video guys!👍 Wow! You’re right, that zinc coating does look really good! Can’t beat powder coating either👍 I’m jealous you have such good access to all these types of suppliers Can’t wait to see these 2 new babies on the snow! Keep up the great work! Cheers guys 🍻
I say Teal.. these sleds will look sweet !!!!! I have been thinking of painting the fan covers for my indy trail to match the hood when I paint the hood... the color I call it Freedom Blue...
I love what your doing with these classic sleds Todd. Brings back alot of memories for me as I was triple lovin polaris guy back in the 90's. Keep up the great work.
Todd, your stuff is looking sweet! Lots of hard work for sure. I had a 96 XLT once, might look for a XLT project although it wont be as elaborate as yours. FYI, hard to hear you when you turn away from the camera/phone. A cheap Bluetooth mic would fix that..😉
Teal. I remember the first time I saw the color teal. It was a car I saw as a kid and asked my mom what color is that??!! It was probably a dodge neon but teal was my fav color for a few years after that. It's almost the perfect color.
Ooooooo this is so exciting!!!! Todd you take this to such a sick and awesome level!! If you could only see my reaction you would laugh you're butt off 😂😂
Plumb Pizzazz is the color I think. We had to match the lettering of course back in 1995 on our XCR's that we bought. Had to match them ya know !! Nice work Todd.
I have been watching your channel for a while salivating so I decided to pick up a sled this year. It will be a Polaris because I love them too. Going to look at a 2002 700 classic today, it has the hot cdi box, should make 132hp. I think the 1998 xc700 2002 xc700 2000-2003 xcr800 and 2000 xc600 are the best ones to look for, they all moved the mail.
Giving Grizzly Adams a run for his money this no shave November! Leaning black loops, but may need to wait until the build is complete to see what looks best.
I'm shocked at the costs for blasting and powder coating. With the cost of brand new sleds restoring classic sleds (even as meticulously as you do) seems cost effective. Looking forward to see the paint work!
I have a ultra rmk for sale in northern wi I told Trenton about it if you're interested let me know I can deliver I'd like to talk to you guys about sleds
