You're gonna LOVE that concrete floor. Drain is a nice touch. 👌 We went with a bathroom in ours...will be nice if we ever get around to hooking it up! Interesting how concrete is done differently around the country. Congratulations!! 👍
Thanks 😁I wish I could have had it sooner but better late than never. I can’t wait to set it up to make stuff again. Thanks for checking out the video 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Hi Mitch! The concrete pour looked like it went really well and done by pros for sure. Loved the float cam shots! Nice touch. I hope you enjoy your barn as much as I have my shop!
Thanks Martin 😁 I deliver concrete to them all the time at work. When you work with a good concrete crew with a great attitude it makes it easy on everyone. I can’t wait to start making things again. That’s funny the bull float shot was one of the finishers idea he makes wedding videos on the side. Thanks for leaving a comment 😁👍🚜💨🍳
That is one nice building! I can't imagine how excited you are! I'm excited and it isn't even my building lol. I'm sure you will have no problem filling it up! Nice work!
@@WichhartAcres No but had to cancel because after asking 3 times for a wind code rated door it turned out the guy put down without wind code 🤔. So I ordered it from a local garage door company and cost double but should be in at the end of August.
Really nice Mitch. I thought "no way they're gonna back a full cement truck onto that sand!" Look how wrong I was! All that prep and compactor work really payed off! 👍😎👍
thank u looks great lots of room , I built pole barn in Montana, and store equipment tractors, mowers etc. have gas furnace ceiling mount, Consider some big fans in ceiling to move heat and air around. Also consider spray insulation on walls and ceilings and blocking any soffit gaps. I found the insulation keeps my shop cool in summer and prevent freezing in winter for equipment and all my chemicals and paints. Also run furnace thermostat at 45 degrees and gas cost is minimal. the spray insulation also tightened up shop no squeaks or ratttling in high winds. Just some thoughts off top of my head. I also forgot overhead lighting . go overboard and also put lots of outlets , i also got 240 v outlets for my table saw, and or welder.
Thanks for your ideas I will be using some of them soon. I am going with the ceiling mount radiant 50foot 150,000btu tube heater and 8 high bay Led hyper lights. Lots to do but loving every minute of it. Have a great weekend 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Thanks Lucas😁 I wish I showed more but it was a lot to just get it done. You know how it is. Thanks for checking out the video👍 Have a great weekend 😁👍🚜💨🍳
The tyre pressure system on the trucks is cool. This was great to watch and it looked like a very professional job. Concrete prices are silly over here at the moment and it was like watching them pour liquid gold :-)
I use the tire pressure system all the time it makes the truck ride more smoothly down the road. The concrete was $168US a yard and we ordered 30 yards😵💫Thanks for checking out the video 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Nice looking pole barn Mitch, it’s going to be a great workshop 👍🏻. I love the spot where you’ll be washing the cars 👍🏻. Does Angelo charge you any copyright fees 😉😂. Have a great weekend M.J.A. 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻🍻
Hey Mitch ...you guys did a fantastic job...great planning... and of course a great video. You could always use a self contain toilet... for when you get older...lol
That will be great! You said it looks really big in there, but it fills up fast! Nice to have a floor drain, but where does it drain to? Great video, thanks for making it. Cheers!!
Hey Mike the floor drain is just for looks 👀 😉thanks for checking out the video I hope you are getting outside and enjoying our spring weather finally😂have a great weekend 😁👍🚜💨🍳
I don’t know about your area but I live in Ohio if you don’t put plastic under the concrete the floor will sweat especially where you have things sitting on it best of luck hope you enjoy your new building
Yep we used to live in a place with a lot of clay and moisture would always be a problem but were we live now is very sandy and our garage doesn’t have plastic and it is heated and very dry. Thanks this is going to be great when it is all done. Have a great weekend 😁👍🚜💨🍳
How's she goin'? That is some sweet looking pole barn Mitch. Nice job doing the sand. That was a big job but it paid off eh. The cement trucks had no issues driving on that. It's looking good there buddy!! Take care!!!
💥 You don’t need a bathroom, you’ve got a floor drain! 🤷♂️ Also, will your building have any extra room if I buy more implements. *Keep on tractoring!*
You’re getting there now. I’ll wait to see how long before I hear about all the “stuff” that’s in there that’s not yours! Lol. Enjoy it, I’m in mine daily even after 30 years.
Yep 👍 funny you say that cause I already got people wanting to store boats motorcycles and campers 😂that is not happening I have waited to long. I am sure I will be in it a lot. Thanks for checking out the video. Have a great weekend 😁👍🚜💨🍳
That is the best part when concrete is finally poured. If you can avoid parking your car with road salt (next winter) for the first year, that can help prevent the concrete to scale. In the second year, the concrete is not only fully cured but more resistant to salt. Ask me why I know... Thanks!
Thanks Joe👍for that information we have a lot of salt here in the winter. Do you think after I use concrete sealer it will help? Have a great weekend 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Nope.... The sealer did not help me. Maybe if you wash the salt it will help. In my case, that was outside and the salt stayed on the concrete for days/weeks.
