Polestar 2 solution for “Vehicle key NOT detected”

Me and a lot of Polestar 2 owners have gotten this message in the car, saying that the car can not find the key. And from that point it’s not possible to lock the doors either. So what to do?
In this video I’ll show what COULD fix it and for most cases it does fix the problem.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I was actually lurking in the same 'trap' for some minutes. A bit strange solution by Polestar.

It is a 3d printed thing. Printed in 3 parts. If you have a 3d printer you can buy the files here and print yourself. cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/polestar-2-cup-holder-mroek It might be possible to have a company print it for you as well. But needs to be printed in PETG. Not PLA. I have a video on the cup holder coming soon. But I plan to start making a few of these and selling soon as well, just got permission from the designer.
