I have the Uniden R7 which has arrows showing direction the police are. Also use the Waze app. Both have helped me in my Redeye.

@@infamousy2g1 what if you're in an area with not many people using waze or the cop just relocated to a new spot and no one wazed them yet? If they have instant on/off radar, you're fuxked. Don't rely too heavily on waze and radar detectors.

@@POPJack1717 I'm sure of come across that but I'm aware that I'm in a not so populated area so waze wouldn't be as affective and I know the radar detector is not bullet proof. So along with those gadgets common sense and paying attention comes into play. I'm not driving 100mph everywhere.

I don't care which radar detector you have and waze, still keep your eyes on a swivel and never speed around a corner or hill/hill crest that you can't see over or through. If the cop moves to a new location and you're the first one there and he is using instant on/off radars you're fuxked.

The best way to understand how the LEOs in your area work. And have good visuals I haven't ran a detector in over 10 years. Waze is hit or miss. Majority of the times they are on point. Now LEOs have gotten ways to counter this too. Nobody has used X band in a very long time. Automatic doors use then. K band rarely used. Ka Band is what you are mainly going to see. LIDAR is used but in bad weather they will not use it.

I didn’t know I needed an R7 until I got one, my R3’s speaker went bad and I upgraded to the 7 same great range but with the arrows a lil more piece of mind and saves your neck from all the twisting & turning when it first goes on

i used to have a V1, which does give arrows telling which direction the issue is coming from. i got tired of it going off all the time, now that there is radar cruise control and all sorts of radar/laser nannies on cars these days.

My buddy whose a cop told me he'll drive down the freeway and drop cop markers every 2-3 miles. That way people aren't speeding along huge stretches of highway and also so that people would assume his location when he finds one, is apart of the fake blips. Basically a crying wolf thing.

Your buddy is probably shadow banned at this point. The system updates continuously and if they see no other users reporting the 🐖then they will not show the ping. After so many false flags he can press the buttons for fun like a child, but doesn’t affect anyone else.
